"Goede locatie en schoon"

"We stayed 2 nights at Hotel Daiichi Tokyo and it was disappointing! Being part of Hankyu hotels group (which we had the opportunity to stay in Osaka with a very positive experience), we had good expectations. But it was disappointing even unacceptable for Japan standards where hygiene and cleanliness is spectacular usually. I've been many times in Japan and it is the first time such a situation happened. On first night, I found a dirty towel! Yes, a towel with several brown/reddish stains...absolutely disgusting! Furthermore, there was a sticky stain on the wall; very uncommon for an upscale hotel in Tokyo! Housekeeping should be definitely more attentive! As a reaction to this situation, reception staff was kind and apologetic and changed our room, they put us in exactly the same room category but a couple of floors up. Unfortunately we found a hair on the shower towel and a couple of black stains on the roll away bed (maybe washing issue? nevertheless, should not happen!). Hygiene and cleanliness is the most important and I get very picky on that, though reddish stains on towels should be a BIG NO for everyone! At this stage, we were very angry and I asked for a full change of sheets and towels and to put extra CARE. Second and last night, we noticed some improvement, but despite the reception apologized at check out again, this was a very negative experience and we will not come back."

"Gezinsonvriendelijk. Personeel spreekt amper of geen Engels. En niet kind vriendelijk. Bij aankomst bleek dat het zwembad niet toegankelijk is voor iedereen onder de 20 jaar (!) of met een tatoeage. De Panorama bar niet toegankelijk voor kinderen dus een kop koffie en van het uitzicht genieten kan niet met kinderen erbij. Als er geen zitplaats is zijn zelfs volwassenen niet echt welkom om een foto van het uitzicht te maken. "

"WiFi kept cutting out, the ventilation in the bathroom was not the best and the wait for the elevator can sometimes (especially mornings and evenings) go up to 10 min because the hotel is very big with only 3 out of the 4 elevators operational. "

"De kamer rook niet fris en het was niet mogelijk om een raam open te zetten. In-en uitchecken moest je zelf op een scherm, dus geen persoonlijk onthaal of contact zoals men in het hotel zou verwachten. Alle dagen schoonmaak en een nette kamer. Ook een mooi uitzicht."

"Very nice hotel with very nice staff. The hotel is situated near Ginza street and subway stations, super convenient. "
