'Chalet #9 is a humble home with a direct path to beach (7 minute walk) and just a few blocks away from Sharky’s. The kitchen is small and there is no dishwasher, I share that in case you have a big intention to cook a lot, be prepared to hand wash (no problem for us). This is more built for 2 people, anymore would feel overwhelming. 1 parking spot right outside the door. The text updates were great with door codes for check in as well as the check out process. 'This was perfect for our weekend trip to Ocean Shores for my family and our dog! While you can't see the ocean from the unit, it is on the ocean side of the street and a very short walk to the beach. It was cozy, comfortable, and clean and our host was fantastic. There was even a basket with dog toys and a dog bowl! Would absolutely stay here again.'

'We were down for the Roanoke Conference and a few more days to explore the area. Good location to the activity centers. Also a good base to explore the area. Took a few hours one day and drove North passed Moclips to the end and back. Another day we drove around to Westport and then another day trip to Long Beach/ Cape Disappointment, then to Astoria for dinner and back. About a 2 hour drive each way. 'I happened to book this hotel by chance. Our schedule was delayed and they were able to accommodate a change with no problem. The property was quiet, the room huge and comfy, the grounds beautiful. We walked down to the beach daily, enjoyed the hot tub, and the location to other things around town. The only bummer was our fire place only worked on the first evening and not the rest of the days there. If not for that I’d give it 5 stars. '

"Dit is echt een hele goede plek om te overnachten in Ocean Shores, ook voor meerdere dagen. Het is een ouder type motel dat door een renovatie binnen en buiten weer volledig nieuw is. Tegelijkertijd het voordeel van dit soort motels: auto voor de deur. Vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel. De kamer is heel leuk ingericht en super schoon. De foto’s overdrijven niet. Heerlijk bed met extra kussens. Geen airco maar wel een plafond ventilator en een raam met hor dat open kan. Je kunt koffie zetten op de kamer. Het ontbijt is beperkt, maar met goede koffie en waffles maak je een goede start. Wil je meer, dan vind je vlakbij gelegenheden voor een uitgebreid ontbijt. Het strand is trouwens ook vlakbij en aan de achterkant van het motel is een groot grasveld."
