'We love to be able to walk everywhere and this place allows us to walk to all the stores. The pier is only a short walk. Live music at a few places on Friday and Saturday nights. Also a couple minute walk. Went to the market at the park. Found a great used book store. The only place we drive to was the beach. Only a five minute drive to the park (With bathrooms), where you can park and walk to the beach. The cottage was great. Room for two. Washer dryer, big shower great water pressure and heat...

'We stayed at the Norris cottage for 5 nights and thoroughly enjoyed our time there. The town of St Mary’s was charming. Cumberland Island on Okefenoke Swamp were really fun to visit. The cottage was just as advertised and perfect for us. It was clean, quiet, the kitchen was well stocked, bathrooms were nice and beds were comfortable. For the price, it exceeded our expectations.'

'This was the perfect place for 2 families during a week long spring break trip. We had 4 teenage girls and 2 sets of parents. The accommodations were above and beyond. Beach chairs, umbrella and beach towels for all. The kitchen was very well stocked with all of the essentials and then some. We had a problem with the elevator upon arrival and needed it as we had a teenager with a torn ACL. The host was so sweet and very quick to send help and the elevator was up and going. 'Everything was as advertised, convenient and walking distance to everything in the SSI Village, everything was tastefully done and decorated, comfortable beds and a very nice BIG TV.'

'This was our third stay at this property. Our first two stays were very satisfying, actually over the top wonderful. This stay was totally awesome due to Amy’s recent remodel. She and her contractor have transformed this cottage into something totally awesome. The location can’t be beat and now the little cottage equals the view and experience. 'Overall it was a very great experience. However, there was a neighbor directly in the back of the property who was partying and very loud music until 4:00 a.m. one evening that caused me to stay awake. However it was not the fault of our host. I was not sure if I should call the police or not; I did not.'

'Loved that it was pet friendly! Sitting out on the deck provided a fabulous View each morning sunrise! It is 14 steps up to the unit, but that was totally fine with us. It had everything you needed in the kitchen for cooking! Extra towels / hand soap and toilet paper. Hate going to a place where this is very little and you have run out and buy asap. Very Quite and manager was super helpful when we called with a quick question. Would go to unit again.'

'Generally speaking my wife and I had a comfortable stay but some pics of the exterior property must be old, it is kind of overgrown in the front and dead leaves were everywhere until a landscaping guy came, but he blew leaves all over our car and bikes that were on the front porch. Also, the entry keypad is not backlit so it is extremely hard to use. The only other things we thought were a bit off were that the dryer did not work very well at all, and the bathroom tub has moldy black caulking...

'The 2 bedroom cottage was perfect for me and my 2 married friends to visit St Mary. They stayed in the queen bed room and me in the twin room. Really cute fenced in patio on the side and a separate covered front porch as well (we kept our bikes there while it rained). Great location for biking around St Mary and also taking the ferry to Cumberland Island!'

'We had plans change 24 hours before arriving at SSI, we scrambled to find a place to stay and found this one. This was one of the best vacation rentals we have ever experienced! Lots of room, nicely appointed, clean and comfortable. Walk to coffee, bakery, restaurants and shopping. We'll rent it again.'
