'Het huis ligt in een rustige straat, parkeren lukte goed in de nabije omgeving. Het is vlakbij het strand, waar wat eet en drinktentjes zijn. Ook vlakbij de High Street met winkels, supermarkten, restaurants en de bushalte. Prima verbinding naar Edinburgh (30-40 min). Het huis is geweldig met een grote keuken voorzien van alles dat je nodig hebt, een gezellige zitkamer en 4 ruime slaapkamers en 2 badkamers. Er is ook een tuin met een lounge set en middag zon.Kortom top locatie en top huis!'

'My wife and I enjoyed our stay here! The room is basic but equipped with all the essentials (private entrance, private bathroom, kitchen sink, and fridge). It’s perfect for use as a home base while spending your days out and about. It is very close to a bus stop, about a 4 min walk, which gives easy connection to the rest of the city. The family is very quiet and we were not disturbed at all during our stay. '

'The property was clean and pretty much as advertised. Note there are not four queen size beds but 2. The cutlery could do with being changed too as it is cheap and not fit for purpose.'

'This property was absolutely amazing. We’ve stayed at 40–50 different rentals over the past decade and this is definitely in the top five. The location is fantastic, and the property is spacious, clean, historic, updated, and just beautiful. We stayed with our family of six and it was perfect. If we are in Edinburgh again, we will absolutely stay here.'

'All was great. This is a working stable with horses and those many that have to care for horses, plus at least one friendly dog. You felt welcomed and that was appreciated. With a 15 minute drive you are in North Berwick and so close to John Muir park and Seacliff. Seacliff is special. The only, and minor, negative was that it was not a peaceful place when we were there- lots of tree trimming (Chain saw) and chipping- so very noisy at times. I would guess this is a rare event and suggested to...

'Beyond our wildest expectations. This home is charming, warm, easy to relax, and a perfect place to use as a base camp for exploring a wonderful city. The location is hard to over hype, as you are staying in the entrance to the wonderful park on one side, and the city on the other. The host was tremendous to work with, and made out stay so incredibly easy and comfortable. Would recommend to anyone looking for a place in Edinburgh. '

'Had everything to make our stay as comfortable as possible. Fully kitted kitchen and washer dryer for self catering. Very clean and well kept property. 10 min walk to train to the city and 13 min train ride. Shops close by. Very happy with stay. A few more towels would have been nice but we made do, so no complaints.'

'Die Sauberkeit in der Küche (Töpfe nicht sauber, innen am Boden angebranntes). Es roch nach Katzen im Haus, für Allergiker bestimmt nicht so gut. Für uns zum Übernachten und frühstücken war es okay.'

'Fast respond from the host. Location is walkable from city. Bedroom are both nice. Can fit up to 7pp if you don’t mind with sofa bed. Everything else is pretty nice.'

"Het is op een handige locatie. Het openbaar vervoer stop voor de deur zowel de tram als bus. Je loopt zo, zowel de oude als de nieuwe stad in. En het ontbijt is prima geregeld en heerlijk eten. Het meubilair is wat gedateerd, maar je bent daar ook niet om in je hotelkamer te hangen. Het bed slaapt goed. Een speciale shoutout naar Danilo hij heeft ons extra tips gegeven over wat je echt moet zien en daarnaast heeft hij ons wandelroutes gegeven wat ons een hoop zoeken heeft bespaard. We werden hartelijk ontvangen door Danilo om even na 23:30 en we konden nog lekker wat drinken bij hem. Al met al een zeer aan te raden hotel! "
