Although there is not much around the location (20-30min drive for a supermarket), thats not the worst. On the big island everything takes time to drive, so for a relaxing place, this hotel is recommended.'

'Enjoyed our stay in Waikaloa Village. We usually stay closer to the beach, but the Village is really a short drive. Nice neighborhood for walking/ shopping/ eating before heading to the beach. Quiet pool and hot tub area. No worries that the living room area doesn't have AC. Temps were pleasant and the AC in the bedrooms was a plus. We would definitely book this property again :) '

'This condo was so relaxing and peaceful!! The view was incredible from the golf course, seeing the shoreline wake up and glitter in the sun, while sitting on the shaded balcony as the golfers rolled out each morning. 'Vivian's place was perfect for our 2 night stay. Follow her directions for finding the apartment building. Check-in was a breeze. The place was clean. There were 2 floor fans and a ceiling fan to keep us cool. A nice sized patio. Everything we needed in the kitchen. And it was spacious enough that the 2 of us didn't feel cramped. The neighborhood felt safe and we had no worries about that. Easy free parking right in front of the building. Lots of restaurants and coffee shops within 5-10 minutes....

'Our stay was truly exceptional,with a fantastic location, impeccable attention to detail, and a genuinely warm welcome. I do have one suggestion: considering adding Rubens Mexican to your recommened dining options, as it is a Hilo institution since1979. We actually made a special trip to Hilo to bring back a large order, and I highly recommend it to future guest. Mahalo for hosting us and we will definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a quiet place.'

'We had such a great time at the property. The property itself is private and well stocked. We could do star gazing right at the never crowded swim pool when it’s new moon and no clouds. Beautiful! The owner’s beach club is few minutes drive and is fabulous! There’s a trail leading to a snorkeling site where the snorkeling boats stop (just a little further after the famous 15th south course hole), where menta rays can be spotted. We didn’t know until the last day and may try it next time!...

'Located about 20 mins from the airport. A short walk across the street to beach access. Plenty of parking. Unit is on the third floor (no elevators). A/C unit is only in living room however, if you utilize the 2 standing floor fan's it does cool down the whole unit quite well. Very well maintained and clean. Great for couple, family or self getaway. I would definitely recommend staying here. '
