'This is a whole other level of "too good to be true": the food is so good that promises of "no overeating this time" sound like pure fantasy. The staff smiles so genuinely that you start to wonder if maybe we're here working and they're here relaxing. The rooms are comfortable, like a hug after a long flight. The pools are like a magnet: "I'll just pop in for 5 minutes" turns into "oh, it's sunset already." And the evening shows... well, let's just say they make you want to either dance or sign...

'I had zero expectations coming to this resort and I steered clear of the reviews prior to attending. In saying that, I was pleasantly surprised with everything. The room was clean (travelled with my two kids and wife). Even though they only had two double beds, there is a couch in the room that was able to be pulled out for a child or/and two. 'Friendly staff, very clean rooms with great air condition and ceiling fans. Grounds and pool are wonderful. Beach location is perfecto. Not all the rooms have an ocean view. So be sure to ask when booking or checking in. '

'To start with, when booking this stay we were not aware that this room was actually located at Villa La Estancia. Why was this called Beachside Escape? The room was nice but the balcony was shared with the larger unit next door. We were not aware of this and felt awkward using this space. We also felt that it could be a security risk. We noticed a lot of the balconies had partitions up for these reasons. We had a mini fridge, coffee maker but could not plug in the coffee maker as the cord was...
