'Terrible service, especially at the reception desk, they just couldn’t care less. You are just passing through and they know it. Severe issues with the toilets in the lobby/restaurant (see pictures). They didn’t provide enough towels for a family of four, nor toilet paper, no coffee pods (but reading the reviews this has been going on for years now), for every little detail you need to go down to the lobby and ask for it. Bathroom is flooded after taking a shower, and the pillows are the worst....

'This is our second time in 2 years. First time we stayed at Nizuc without our kids, second time Sunrise, with kids. We are always very impressed with the resort staff, cleanliness, prompt service, great restaurant choices, great amenities, pretty good evening entertainment. Safe, secure property. Beach sucks.
