'I was in town for an Alaskan cruise with my uncle. I had booked (and paid extra for) the bigger room with the sofa bed. I received instructions for after hours check-in, which had me assigned to room #1. When I showed up at 11:45pm and attempted to enter my room, it was locked. I was finally able to get the owner’s son’s attention at 12:10am only to be told that they had given my room to someone else. 'My room was huge and the bathroom was also a great size. I had everything I needed including a large TV, kettle and a fan/air con unit. The property is in a very nice area which is quiet and also very safe for solo travellers. It was an easy walk to shops and restaurants as well as the river trails.'

'This is a difficult review to write as the host could not have been friendlier or more helpful. The accommodations were clean but run down and spartan at best. We booked this property as it was near to the airport and we had an early flight the following morning - this was really the only redeeming thing about the property and it’s location. 'I was travelling solo so I was very picky with choosing a place to stay. I am so happy that I chose Granville House B&B. As soon as I arrived, I was greeted by Randy. The place and room was clean and nicely decorated. Randy was very helpful with information and places to see and visit. My room was amazing. I had everything I needed and more.
