'Very quiet but active stay, walks to a few beaches in the East Lothian area, trips to North Berwick and Dunbar, Archerfield. Excellent meals from The Mallard Hotel, takeaway from Grace of India in Aberlady, weather was just lovely sunny and quite warm.'

'Comfortable cottage with roaring wood stove. We were surprised by a morning of snow which added to the beauty. Kim, our host was the best, helping us when needed, even suppling candles at last minute when a predicted windstorm threatened power outage which luckily never came. '

'The rooms all have large beautiful windows and we appreciated all the day light. It is a relatively quiet neighborhood with many shops and dining options. The apartment had a well stocked kitchen and there is a food market right next to the building which was so convenient. We were in the apartment for 9 days during the Fringe which was wonderful. '

'Homelea Cottage was a great way to start our Scottish vacation. Hosts Katy and Geoff were incredible with communication and made the process seamless. The cottage is well appointed and they thought of everything. The bed is very comfortable and even comes with adjustable heat. The bathroom is also setup perfectly with a tub and shower combo, much appreciated by us Americans! Also much appreciated is the cottage having both a washer and separate dryer.
