'This was such an enjoyable stay. At first we were deterred by the steep stairs but then realized that was part of the old home. Stairs were like that and to change that would have changed the authenticity of it. Hand rails on the sides of the stairs took care of any concerns. The fireplace and exposed log beams were our favorite parts of the home. We used the fireplace often throughout our stay. So clean and cozy. Absolutely loved it. 'we really liked our stay at the Landmark Resort, all was clean and we felt safe. It was a little dated but that didn't take away from our stay. We had some issues with all of the construction on Hwy. 42 but that was not something the resort could do anything about. They were nice enough to let us know about the construction and give us directions to get to the resort around the construction. We would consider staying there again should we go back to Door Cty. in the future'
