'Exactly what a boutique B&B should be. Exceptional service - great location- we had the balcony room with a view of the beach- would highly recommend the upgrade. Short walk to town & harbour area. Accurately listed on expedia. Thoughtfully decorated - loved the elclectic book selection in the room . Breakfast just fabulous. Jonathan was a great host - very helpful with restaurant recommendations and things to do. Made for a great anniversary weekend.'

'Beds are comfortable and there are tea/coffee making facilities. Bathrooms are clean and there is plenty of hot water. Car parking is easy. They provide a fan which was useful as the traffic is a bit noisy to have the window open. Curtains are very thin so the room is light from early morning. They don’t offer a cooked breakfast on Wednesday or Thursday mornings but there is a continental choice of toast, pastries, cereal and yoghurt. 'Stunning house, comfortable bed, lovley room with en-suite very lovley breakfast. We have had a lovely weekend stay at birch house, felt at home. Nice place to sit and chat with other guests. Would definitely book again '

'I loved the fact that we could park in front of the property, away from te busy street. The room was lovely, with enough space and a beautiful bathroom (not in the room but just outside). Breakfast was amazing, with both an English breakfast as Continental options. Would love to stay here again in the future'
