'It was everything we needed. It was small enough for two people and it had everything you could need. The community feels safe, quiet, calm, and welcoming. The location is perfect, close enough to anything you could do in Austin. The experience was very cute and comfortable and the hosts were very nice and friendly. Would definitely recommend and look forward to booking again!!!'

'We really enjoyed our stay at Shadowland. Beautiful property that is well taken care of. The vintage 1956 airstream is super cool, even thought its been updated its a glimpse back in time, to a time when things were built with quality and built to last. The hot tub was awesome, very peaceful property, easy to relax. Lots of stuff to do in the area. Would definitely stay here again if we return to the area.'

'Me and my family went to this property to view the total eclipse and enjoy some time away from home for a weekend. While we did catch a lot of clouds for the event the rest of the stay was quite enjoyable. We had no issues staying cool with the great airflow of the property, keeping the mosquitos out of the barn, or making simple meals. We enjoyed the fireflies and my toddler had a lot of fun following the local cat and playing at Old Baldy and the Blue Hole Playground (both only a short drive...

'Great property location and the property was very clean. It would be nice if there was more than one kitchen towel available, if there was a toaster, and a new coffee pot. The one available just boiled away the coffee it made with lots of sounds. Other than these 3 minor pieces it was a great VRBO and we plan on staying there again! Thank you!'

'The place is in a great part of Austin and is a walkable distance to parks and grocery stores. It had everything I needed with lots of kitchen utensils. The place was clean, bed was comfortable, and the shower had good water pressure. While there is some noise as it’s close to both a highway and train tracks, I work from home and had no issues. The host is super nice and her dog and cats were also friendly. Overall it was one of the best stays I’ve had!'

'The 2 BR we stayed in for 6 days was fantastic! Beautiful floor to ceiling windows with spectacular views of the river and city skyline. A 2 min walk from Rainey St. but we never heard the loud music or had to worry about rowdy crowds. Also a 2 min walk from Lady Bird Lake with a great walking/running trail. Would highly recommend this property for both short and long term stays. '
