The apartment is in the upper west side, so you are a walk from Central Park and the museums but my kids did fine with it. You are a few blocks from a bus stop and similar distance from a subway station and close to multiple pizza shops which was the reason for the trip! 'It was really nice to have so much space in New York! Check in was super easy. I also loved having a kitchen. We often had leftovers that we could heat up later. Also, my daughter needed to steam her throat every morning which we couldn't have done at a hotel. There was a problem with the hot water in the shower. The handle got super hot, so we needed to use a cloth to adjust it or turn it off. I alerted the property manager about it. There are a few run down spots on the floor which...

'My daughter was doing a college program near the location of this apartment so we took our chances .... so glad we did. What a great apartment and location. Yes, the bridge traffic dumps out here but it really wasn't loud at all. And the neighborhood around it has tons to offer. Management company was top notch and responded quickly to any emails I sent. Would definitely re-rent this place for sure! Thanks for a great week! '

'This apartment was in a great spot right by Columbus Square. We were able to walk to almost everywhere we wanted to go, and if not, it was a two minute walk from the subway. The air conditioning was especially helpful as we were there during a heat wave. The only thing I took one star off for was the sofa bed; it wasn’t really a bed more like an extended sofa, and the extension kept collapsing while we were on it, so obviously it wasn’t very sufficient. But overall great experience!'
