'Beautiful house in excellent condition in a nice quiet area. Everything you need is provided in the house. The phone in the house did not seem to work to call the reception though. The nearest Tofukuji Station is only a few minutes’ walk away with two convenience stores on the way. Love to return in the future; cannot recommend more!! '

'This was by far our favourite accommodation in Japan. The manager was amazing and the accommodation was spacious, traditional but will all of the modern facilities. We loved it and wished we had spent more time here. In fact, once we moved to Osaka, we travelled back twice to spend time in this area and a little town called Sanjo. '

'My son and I traveled from Portland Oregon to celebrate his graduation from high school. This was our favorite place we’ve stayed in our short 8 day whirl wind trip. So Kyoto feels more like an Air B&B than a hotel, which we love! It felt like home. Thank you So Kyoto I hope to come back and stay again! '

'ligt vlak bij het station, subway en bushalte. Hotel heeft public bath enkel voor dames, mijn dochter heeft hiervan zeer kunnen genieten. Het hotel is vanuit de subway bereikbaar hierdoor hoef je geen spoor over te steken of met zware koffers trappen op te sjouwen.'
