The only thing we were disappointed about was there was no beach but that wasn’t the accommodations fault since in winter time there is almost no beach because of the way the wind blows. '

'Très belle chambre avec toutes les fonctionalités et le confort requis. Très bien situé dans le centre de Playa del Carmen.
Nous avons apprécié la taille de la chambre mais aussi la terrasse avec le jacuzzi et la barbecue mis à disposition.

'The stay was over all pleasant (8 out of 10), although we had complications with the amount of beds reserved for us; we were a party of six and the apartment was prepared for five. There's a really nice gym on the ground floor with all sort of group lessons like yoga, pilates, etc... Please keep in mind that these apartments are not direct to the beach but one block away. One huge tip: when making reservations through booking sites, although you've set the search filter, do check the details...

'The location is great to access the local eateries and attractions. Parking is provided on site of which is very nice. Amenities are modern and excellent for us to prepare our breakfast. Staff are very friendly and helpful. 3 discos are just around the corner but we don’t have too much noise issue. '

'The initial room we were given when we checked in late in the day, wasn't great. It was rather small, felt unkept and the bathroom had water pressure issues. When we brought up the issues to the management, they were happy to make the switch the next day and gave us the free upgrade to a suite. Which was very spacious, clean and comfortable. Laura- one of the manager was very accomodating and all the hotel staffs were helpful and friendly. Acanto felt like home during our stay! '

'We had a short stay before flying out of Tulum. Location is awesome very short walk to 5th avenue but far enough to not be super noisy.
Room was good size with 2 big beds. Bathroom was good sized too
Japanese restaurant below was great too.
Pool / rooftop was bit of a letdown. Pool needs maintenance and there is no shade over pool or lounges so way too hot to hang out for more than a few minutes.
Would recommend if just want a room and don’t need a pool or breakfast. '

'Everything was very neat, the staff were friendly, there were plenty of dining options, and the coffee was delicious! The only downside was that the vegetarian options were somewhat limited. The hotel was close to the city center, so everything was within walking distance. Definitely recommend!'

'Check-in took a long time and Francisco the receptionist, could have been more honest and direct instead of looking for excuses.
The stay itself was really good. A bit more entertainment in the evening would have been nice.
Unfortunately, there is only a very small beach that can be used for the guests and this is not close to the pool area.'

"Goede locatie! Kamers werden altijd proper gepoetst. Keuken had alles wat nodig was. Douchekop en deur zijn wel dringend aan vervanging toe. Meerdere soorten kussens zou beter zijn. Zwembad en ligstoelen hebben hun beste tijd al gehad maar zijn zeker nog doenbaar. Parkeergarage onder het hotel is top, let wel op bij het in- en uitrijden voor schade aan de auto. Ik zou terugkomen."

"Looks better on pictures then in real life. But it’s a ok place to stay. Close to shops but also bars and clubs so very noisy at night. Pool on the roof is nice. They have a good private parking under the building. Room very big, cleaning we have Ronald some days they forget. Only 2 towels no iron or hairdryer in the room. Not sure we’re coming back again. "
