'The core issue on this stay was that while I clearly booked Suite 3 specifically on the site, on arrival I was given Room 1 and told that the previous client had extended his stay. This was done without solutions to accommodate my booking nor compensation for the change which was inconvenient for me, given I had opted for Room 3 because of a desk I needed for working. While the room was comfortable, it did inconvenience and I was provided no excuse nor service to apologize.'

'A lovely place in terms of setting/environment. Own access to beach just a walk away from our rooms. The only problem i feel is the lack of "professional service"...like I had to demand my original rooms I had booked. The bath towels had to requested to be changed due to poor quality of the 1st set. Too much noise in the mornings when one is trying to get some extra sleep. Music in the "lounge" area a bit too un holiday type (but that's my personal taste). '

'What a lovely experience. Fairway Guesthouse was sublimely superb. As a location with an absolutely stunning view of the golf course overlooking the sea and Durban cityscapes, as well as the absolutely wonderful friendly service, that simply made us feel home away from home.
