'If you like old buildings, well maintained and fitted with a smart hotel stylish bathroom, excellent view over the dale, this is the one. It is in the hamlet of Newbiggin on a quiet road amongst other attractive cottages. Loads of space for 2, 4 would be fine but I think 6 adults would rather cosy in the lounge and with just one loo & bathroom, albeit a very smart one.'

Steve was very welcoming and the farm had plenty of animals with feeding opportunities. The converted barn is well located in the heart of Wensleydale, so is a great base for visiting the surrounding dales. Can definitely recommend it.'

Hawes is een ideaal startpunt om de Dales te verkennen. De cottage is zeer compleet en superschoon. Het voelt als een home away from home. Denk wel om alle trappen, hierdoor niet voor iedereen geschikt.'

Sally was very responsive to any queries I had ahead of the trip and whilst we were there. A hot tub had just been installed a few days before we arrived and was the perfect addition to the property.
