'My group of friends 40's-50's stayed here for a quick girls' getaway. The location is lovely located just outside town along the lake near farm land. We felt safe and I enjoyed walking near the cornfields. Denver is a cute town with everything you need within a 10-minute drive. The house is a perfect setup with everything you need to enjoy your trip. It is evident the host spent a great deal of time trying to think through every detail so you could enjoy your stay. This includes sound machines...

'We chose the Azaela Cottage b/c our daughter was holding her wedding 3 doors down. But it was perfect for the parents of the bride. Far enough away from all the wedding shenanigans, but close enough we could easily help w/anything required. B/c we were there for an occasion, we didn't get to experience all the cottage/lake amenities, but it was still a lovely place to unwind & enjoy our time away from home. Would love to stay again & see more of the area.'

'We throughly enjoyed our stay. It was very quite and peaceful. If you are a fisherman, this is the place for you. Owners responded within 10 minutes to any questions or concerns. Beds were very comfortable for a good night sleep.'

'Jamie’s property is the perfect quiet getaway! The house is so cutely decorated and has everything you might need. Jamie was so helpful and responded quickly anytime we reached out to her. We were a group of 5 Moms looking for some relaxation and time together and it was perfect. We spent most of our time on the dock enjoying the peaceful cove of the lake and the kayaks. We would definitely stay here again!'

'The simple home was everything but simple a great location , lots of space and things for both adults and children. We only wish it was warm enough to enjoy the pool. The house was clean and well stocked. And Teri was awesome.'

'We canoed and waded, bird watched, and ate on the screened in porch through rain. Clean, comfortable, and enough outdoor space for kids under 10 to play on and off the lake. Good place for a small family gathering!'

My children loved running around and playing fishing from the dock, swimming, kayaking, all of it even the rainy days it was nice to hunker down and play games and watch movies . It was truly a blast. I'm so thankful we had amazing host who took care of us like family. Would defiantly recommend for family fun and a place to rest and relax.'

'We were only there for 2 nights but it was perfect for the family. The children almost disappeared playing with the toys. We had a fire pit s'mores night. The hot tub was not clean when we arrived but the owner was very responsive and it was cleaned for the next day. The hot tub service company was very nice to deal with. I'd stay here again'

'What a wonderful home away from home! Our room was just perfect. Nicely designed, beautifully decorated, and very comfortable. We enjoyed a bottle of wine sitting on the dock while taking in the beauty of the lake. Nicole was extremely welcoming when we arrived & very sweet. We even got to meet the furbabies who greeted us with wagging tails & doggie smiles. We will definitely be staying again in the future. If 10 stars were an option we would rate this rental as a 10!'

'Large, comfortable lower-level apartment right on Lake Norman. Peaceful, comfortable, and quiet. All amenities taken care of. Kitchen is a little dated, but well stocked. Bedroom large and comfortable! Loved the dock and kayaks!'
