'This was our second stay and it’s a lovely property with wonderful staff that was both friendly and very accommodating…the food in the restaurant and sea deck bar is excellent. Our only complaint was a musty smell in one of the two rooms we rented that was quite overpowering and the lobby fireplace wasn’t working on a cooler day when the patio door was left open. We would definitely stay here again.'

Even without an elevator, the parking location made it easy to access the room. Beds were clean and comfortable. Showers had nice high water pressure that gave a massage feeling.

'Er was geen enkel persoonlijk contact wat jammer was. We hadden geen code ontvangen dus konden aanvankelijk niet eens binnen komen. Ontbijt op kamer, leuk bedacht, maar je mist wel de afwisseling en het eitje. De kamer was mooi gedecoreerd maar veel te weinig ruimte om je tassen ergens op te zetten, ook geen plankjes in badkamer. Tafeltje was erg klein en stoelen zitten niet fijn. Douche was geweldig, bed was ook goed. Keurige schoonmaak. Prijs-kwaliteit verhouding was niet in verhouding. '

Hotel is verder prima, helaas is er in Broadford weinig te doen en kan je beter in Portree zitten. Mocht dat volgeboekt zijn is dit wel.een goeie optie om zo toch op Skye te zijn.

The room was rather small for a double room, as were bed and bathroom. Very clean though. Nice to have a small fridge in the room. Easy to walk into town- we could reach everything by walking which was lovely. Okay place to stay for a couple of nights.

"The pod is very nice, clean and has a lovely view. Very near to Portree and all the restaurants, shops, etc. A perfect location to start exploring the island from. Breakfast is great (a cute tray with yoghurt, croissant, fruits for every table and on top of that you can order warm food from the menu)
The people working there are very friendly. Unfortunately they are short of staff and you notice that. Breakfast takes a bit longer than usual, the restaurant was shut on one of the days we stayed there and the lounge/bar was closed during our stay. Luckily there is a pizza guy (Pizza in the Skye) just down the hill that makes terrific pizza’s to take and eat in the pod with some Netflix on or to sit out and watch the stars if the weather is good.
Would recommend this stay for the location, view, cosiness, etc. but price is quite high. Though I must add prices are sky high on Skye everywhere.."
