'Take care about what type of room you book! They don't make this clear on their website, but... We booked two rooms for quite some money and when we arrived it turned out that we had to share a bathroom with the whole floor! by the way, this bathroom had a carpet?! Very nasty if many people use the shower in one morning... Rooms are small and windows can not open. which makes the place smell like grandmothers attic...'

'Very clean, well-kept accomodation. Friendly people. Very good location close to the castle, city centre, bus stop, railway station. Beautifully located near a canal. Negative, the window did not close. No breakfast. Light from hallway shines through cracks in door. No one around during day time, one has to walk to the "mother house" to have contact with a person.'

I would say the mattress in room 4 needs replacing as it completely sinks to the middle, making it quite uncomfortable. Other than that the room gave us exactly what we needed. 'This hotel is great value for money. You do have to share a bathroom but this was never a problem. The breakfast was wonderful. Lots of options, freshly made, but keep in mind you have to pay separately for it (which we didn't realize when we booked). Staff all very friendly and helpful. 'I was greeted and given a glass of water whilst waiting - as I had walked from the train station with a suitcase. I was then shown up to my room and the host explained clearly about how to use the key/key fob and what time I would need to use the key for the front door when they close it at night. 'Geweldige ligging in een klein dorp midden in natuurgebied Brecon Beacons. Buurtsuper op loopafstand en alle grotere winkels op 20 min. met de auto in. Twee leuke pubs met goed eten, eentje om de hoek, de andere op een kwartier lopen. Prachtige wandelingen vanuit huis, of met een kort autoritje tot aan het startpunt. 'Très bon emplacement à moins de 10 minutes à pied des restaurants et du stade. Par contre, impossible de se doucher - ce qui est très gênant pendant 3 jours et 2 nuits : l'eau était bouillante (même en position froide !!! Appartement petit quand même mais le gros problème a été la douche !!!'

'To my surprise was the only guest during my stay. The hosts were kind and considerate. The room is small but tidy and in well maintained condition. Separate shower which is a bit basic but sufficient, the bathroom is en suite though. There is also a drawing room which you share with a lodger, a bit old fashioned but still nice. Breakfast gives you a choice between continental and full English breakfast in a very nice room. '

'We thought it was a peaceful location but it was a shame it rained most of the time. Jeremy is an excellent host. We rented over Christmas and even set up a Christmas tree with lights.'
