'A true pleasure to stay here. A B & B family run and with soul. Lovely. Great location for walking to Harvard Square and going out! Easy access to metro to Boston. Fine old boarding house used in 19th and early 20th century as residence for Harvard students. Interesting features in the rooms. Nice breakfast and large breakfast rooms. '

'This was a lovely place, close to Rt9, but seemed so far away! Our suite on the top floor was very clean and comfy, though tall people might beware of the dormer roof in the bathroom. A great spread for the continental breakfast in the dining room. And there are lots of great restaurants within easy walking distance. Claudia is a great host, very helpful but not intrusive.'

'De eigenaresse, Pat, is hartelijk en zorgt ervoor dat je je bij haar thuis voelt. Zelfs het ontbijt werd afgestemd op onze nationaliteit. Tevens zijn er twee lieve katten, die het heerlijk vinden om geaaid te worden. De kamers zijn basic, maar prima. Het zou wel fijn geweest zijn een wastafel in de kamer te hebben. De badkamer wordt gedeeld met drie kamers. Deze is goed, maar had wat schoner gekund. De locatie is top! Op loopafstand genoeg eet en drinkgelegenheden. Ook de hubwaystations zijn...

'It was a very enjoyable and comfortable stay. The owner personally serves her customers and makes them feel at home. My room was spacious and clean. The breakfast was family style; my scrambled eggs were delicious. However the breakfast cost was extra. Also, I didn't have a bathroom in my room, but using the shared bathroom wasn't a problem at all. The area around the hotel is all residential, but you can easily walk to restaurants, transportation, or enjoy the nature near the Boston Reservoir....

'Had a wonderful stay, Elizabeth is a fantastic hostess, chef, conversationalist and all around humanitarian. Loved all the extra touches you don't get in a hotel, hot tea, organic apples, exquisite soaps, fine books and chimes from antique clocks. I would highly recommend Elizabeth's Tavern to anyone who is looking to experience an immersive "colonial feel" with all the comforts of modern day living.'

'It was the perfect place to watch the Boston Marathon. We had to walk only a block to the race course. Elite runners come by around 10:30am. Catch all your running friends at the half way point, near mile 14.8 from the start. Walk across the street to the Wellesley Hills train station and catch the train to see your friends cross the finish line. Breakfast before the race was to die for, Baked french toast with apples and cranberries. Very comfortable king size bed. We will be back...

'Very beautiful, directly in the heart of the city.. if you plan on staying make sure you find a parking garage within commutable distance. Directly next to Berkeley college so there is a lot of activity during weekend nights. Overall great place to stay!'

'Great little hotel in beautiful and vibrant Cambridge area. Great restaurants and breakfast places around and if you like to walk like we do, not so bad to downtown. Room was beautifully designed and bed soo comfortable. Hotel doesn’t provide cleaning every day but not a problem for us. Will stay here if I’m Boston again.'
