'Appletree Cottage makes a great home base to explore Loch Lomond and Glasgow! We rented a car and made lots of day trips to explore the area. Alli and Murray were very welcoming and helpful with their instructions and recommendations. And beautiful Scotland exceeded our expectations!'

'What a lovely cottage! It had everything we needed for our 3 night stay. Beautiful, quiet setting near Stirling. We explored the jail and the castle. Took the train to Edinburgh (not a lot of parking at the station). Drove to the ferry to Isle of Arran (take your car if you can). This cottage is in a great location for touring the Edinburgh/Glasgow area.'

'We spent a lovely weekend at Hollybank & can’t fault it at all. Enough space to either spend time in small groups or be together as a group of 8. Very well-equipped kitchen & loved the option for either casual dining in the open-plan lounge or the more formal dining room. Would happily return at any time.'

'Two families (9 total with 5 being children) stayed very comfortably in this home. The home was incredibly inviting. Everyone had great space for bedrooms and bathrooms. Our children enjoyed the yard and stream tremendously - they didn't want to leave. We thoroughly enjoyed the short walk into Drymen, and took several day trips to nearby locations. Even Edinbourgh and Glenn Coe were quite accessible, each for a day. We highly recommend this property for a quiet, beautiful retreat for families...
