De cabine is een ministerie van Holston Presbytery (PC-VS) voor mensen die heiligdom en transformatie zoeken. Gasten worden aangemoedigd om interactie en betrokkenheid met de sponsorende entiteit te zoeken om relaties binnen een spirituele gemeenschap op te bouwen.

Uw groep kan rust en comfort vinden in onze nieuw gebouwde blokhut met twee verdiepingen in het hart van het Hoogland. De Holston Meadows Cabin is volledig ingericht, met 7 ruime slaapkamers met elk queensize bedden. 3 slaapkamers beneden hebben een eigen badkamer met betegelde douches (een slaapkamer en bad toegankelijk voor gehandicapten). 4 slaapkamers boven delen 2 baden (Jack en Jill). U kunt uw hele groep voeden in onze moderne keuken met granieten ontbijtbar en aangrenzende eethoek met 25 zitplaatsen. De woonkamer beneden met "Smart" TV heeft een gezellige gashaard om u op koele nachten of ochtenden te verwarmen. Boven is er een extra vergaderruimte compleet met speeltafel, "Smart" TV en futon banken. Natuurlijk bieden we wifi. Ontspan op ons eigen overdekt terras met uitzicht op een bos. Kijk uit voor kalkoen en herten. Open veld voor voetbal, frisbee, volleybal of badminton. Parkeren is er in overvloed. Wasmachine en droger zijn aanwezig.

De Holston Meadows Cabin is echt een plek voor alle seizoenen. Skiërs zijn graag dicht bij de pistes. Zomer gasten houden van de koele berglucht. Heb je de Blue Ridge Parkway of bergwegen gereden om de herfstkleuren te bekijken? Verbazingwekkend!

Gasten worden uitgenodigd om Holston Retreat Center RESERVE FACILITIES EN ACTIVITEITEN voor aankomst. Reserveringen zorgen ervoor dat uw groep kan worden bediend met veiligheid en competentie om uw ervaring te verbeteren. GEFACILITEERDE ACTIVITEITEN zijn onder meer het gebruik van Wildcat Lake of Lake Lyons (kanoën, kajakken, paddleboards, zwemmen), rotsklimmen, zip-lijnen, teambuildingbaan, boogschieten en mountainbiken. Veldspellen, hoefijzers, basketbal, discgolf en jeu de boules zijn beschikbaar. Laat Mitchell of Jim voor uw aankomst weten dat u activiteitenapparatuur wilt.

Gelegen op slechts enkele minuten van Banner Elk, waar gasten kunnen genieten van lekker eten, een brouwerij, een wijnmakerij, winkels, Lees-McRae College en uitgaansgelegenheden. Skiërs vinden ons handig bij hellingen van Sugar en Beech Mountain. Wildwaterraften, edelsteenwinning, Blue Ridge Parkway, Grandfather Mountain, Appalachian Trail, speleologie, liggen allemaal op korte rijafstand. Appalachian State University ligt op slechts 20 mijl afstand in Boone, NC.

Amazing Cabin!

The cabin was awesome. It accomadated 24 people extremely well with so much space in the kitchen and living room. The location is nicely located being close to Grandfather mountain and having a nice neighborhood and outdoor area to play sports and run. Would 100% recommend if staying with a lot of people.

Paradise in the Mountain!!!!

Surpassed our expectations. Our children, grand children and us had a wonderful time. We enjoyed the fact that the property was very clean and provided everything except tooth brush, ha ha ha. Looking out the window and seeing deer just outside the porch, ample place for the children to play outside, great family rooms where we played games, the sleeping quarters were very nice. So much that we can say about our experience but is one of those things that you have to experience for yourself.highly recommended and we will probably repeat. Thank you

Annual Family Vacation

Excellent property for a large family. Seven bedrooms allowed each one of our five children to have a bedroom for them and their spouse and family. The loft upstairs can accommodate six children comfortably and it’s in the middle of four bedrooms so the children are close to their parents. The cabin is well stocked with plenty of dishes, towels, etc. it has a very large spacious kitchen with plenty of seating for a large group. Best property we have stayed in for a family our size.

Great for Group

The house was neat as a pin and well appointed for our family. We were in town for a wedding. Everyone enjoyed the rocking chairs on the porch. The kitchen area was a gathering place to talk and visit. We couldn't have asked for a more perfect house or experience. Thanks so much!

Beautiful cabin, worked great as a home base for riding motorcycles in the mountains.

Super clean, great hot water, Verizon worked decent on 4G outside, Wifi on site was pretty decent too, no issues with netflix streaming. We did see a bear in the yard one evening, don't keep food in your car.

Church Youth Group Ski Retreat

We had 23 people in our group. I've been working with our Youth Group for 15 years, staying at all kinds of houses, and this was the best house every. Bedrooms, bathrooms, fellowship area, and kitchen were perfect. I will definitely be returning to this house in the future :)

Banner Elk Cabin

We had five couples traveling in our group. We needed bedrooms with private baths, a large gathering area, and a large kitchen/dining area. This house delivered on all accounts. Beautiful home and well maintained. The road to the cabin is a little twisty but after a couple of times of driving it all was good. If you are golfing we played at Mountain Glen Golf Course. Excellent course

Amazing but…

This was an amazing property and fitted our needs perfectly with the exception of the water pressure and temps. Water pressure especially upstairs was NOT good if others were simultaneously showering. In addition, water temps were erratic. The temps vacillated between cool to scalding. We would hope/wish for the property to correct this issue as we would like to return annually. Everything else was nothing short of fantastic.

Youth group ski trip

Our church's high school youth stayed here for 2 nights and skied Sugar Mountain this weekend. The house was perfect! The owners thought of everything. Maybe the first rental I've stayed in that actually has plenty of space and seating to match the listed capacity. Fully stocked kitchen with 2 dishwashers to make it easy for our large group. The cabin was large and beautiful as described. The area was great, and we really enjoyed the fire ring each night. However, the cabin was not clean. When we arrived the kitchen counters had food and stickiness on them. The hall bathroom was dirty, and we found a bowl in the cabinet with rotten, rancid food on it. In addition, there were no cleaning products in the house so that we could at least make it suitable for our stay. We had to purchase cleaning products. We loved the cabin, the large yard and the location, but sadly the lack of cleanliness would prevent us from staying here again.

Some problems

Door code did not work but very nice and helpful mgs came and got is in. We had 8 children with us. We rented this one especially to canoe and zip line but found out we could do neither. Major disappointment and frankly we feel overcharged because of it. The home was great for our group of 18. Very nice for our Easter egg hunt outside.Great kitchen too.
