The drive to and from the park is about 40 miles but the drive is beautiful and Mariposa down the road is a fun town to stop and have a beer or something to eat on the way back. Once you get back you will forget about the drive. Great amenities including the outdoor shower and covered patio. We loved it!'

Spacious and even better than the photos of the listing. 25 minutes drive to the South Entrance of Yosemite, but bear in mind it's another hour from there to Yosemite valley (just something to bear in mind if you want to get to the valle before 8am as they recommend...)'

'This is an amazing property exactly as pictured. Clean, well appointed, easily accessible off Highway 140, great views, 1 mile from Mariposa. Great for a couple or family with 1-2 children. Mariposa is a cute town and easy access to Yosemite without staying in the park.'

'We verbleven 2 nachten in sierra meadows om Yosemite park te bezoeken. Helaas was de South Gate dicht wegens een bosbrand dus was het wel wat verder rijden om er te komen. De huisjes zijn zeer netjes en comfortabel. Het is een kleinschalig park op een groot en rustig terrein waar de lodges op staan. Het zwembad is dan ook een stukje lopen, (maar er zijn gratis fietsen beschikbaar) en is helemaal prima. '
