A little further afield, Brecon (11.5 miles) is home to cultural gems like The Royal Welsh Regimental Museum, Brecon Cathedral and the scenic Brecon Canal Basin. The National Showcaves Centre for Wales (13.5 miles), with its impressive cave systems, is an unforgettable day out. History and art enthusiasts will also appreciate a visit to Cyfarthfa Castle Museum and Art Gallery (22.5 miles).
On arrival at this welcoming home, you’ll find yourself in the quaint porch where you can kick off muddy boots after countryside adventures. From here, enter the farmhouse-style kitchen which features attractive wooden units and a table for leisurely breakfasts. To the left, a handy utility room and a downstairs WC add to the home’s practicality.
