'This is the best rental in the area. The home is modern and very cozy. The 2 bedrooms are large with comfortable beds. The living area is great with Apple tv and a comfy couch. The kitchen is very nice with everything you need to make some breakfast for the kids. The neighborhood is very quiet and great for afternoon walks. I will stay here anytime I'm in the area.'

'Very very clean, and spacious and bright. Worked well with my family including a toddler and a dog. The fenced in yard was perfect to have them run around and feel safe. The kitchen was well stocked and the rooms were spacious. The neighborhood was quaint and i felt safe walking the dog around by myself.'

The only thing I wish was different about our stay is as other people noted, you need to bring lots of extra water to use for drinking/washing up because of the non-potable water in the room. Also, and I recognize this is not really the hosts' fault, but we did not realize just how remote the property was and we didn't...

'Check in extremely easy and host was willing to let check in early. Property is exactly as described (no living room). Perfect stay for the person that does not want to be in the room outside of sleeping, eating, and bathing. There was outdoor furniture however, it rained most days that I was there, so it was not able to sit and relax outside of bedroom.'

'We thoroughly enjoyed Christina’s place. Conveniently located to beach & pier. Lots of windows for fresh, ambient air. Well appointed kitchen. Nice outside deck with foliage; charcoal barbecue. Friendly St. Barnard in adjacent residence (I.e. Bruce); and cool, hip hostess.'

'We had a great time, we will stay again. Tina at the front desk very informed and helpful. Hotel is very close to the downtown area and very walkable. You will need to stay in communication for check-in to ensure they are available you help you. They do have a after hours lock box to be able to access your room. We did not need but it was communicated to us the morning of check-in.'

'I loved the location and house. It was exactly ss described. I did the local history museum, the Wharf, and the Monterey Bay Natural Marine Sanctuary. Ate dinner at the Crows Nest 5 min away. Great view, okay food. So much I didn't see though. I only wish I could stay longer.'

'The couch is not very comfortable for sleeping. The internet was down for our three day stay. Cell service is minimal at best. All that aside, the place is beautiful and the river is a nice teat. Ride the steam train while you are there.'
