'The owners are so kind, friendly, and thoughtful! I stayed here the night before the eclipse, and because they knew people wanted to leave early the next day to beat the eclipse traffic, they moved up the start of breakfast (poached eggs and bacon hash, yum!) an hour. The hotel is beautiful and has wonderful views of the surroundings, including the lake, from windows. There is a nice loop around the lake that can be done, and hiking trails nearby. 'I cannot recommend this property enough. The proprietors are fantastic and make you feel like you are truly having an experience rather than just a stay. The breakfast is exceptional and home made with a rotating menu, and the room we stayed in (the Roosevelt Suite) felt like a home away from home. We enjoyed it so much my fiancé and I have vowed to make a stay here yearly one of our many future traditions.'

'Amazing place to stay for our Girl Scout ski trip! We rented the cottage which sleeps 12 and had two large, comfy rooms for adults plus large family room and new built in beds off family room for the girls. Well appointed modernized rooms while still retaining an authentic Inn feeling. Everyone enjoyed the breakfast buffet, especially the French Toast. 'We had a lovely stay while in the area for a friend's wedding. The rooms were clean and comfortable, the hosts were excellent, the history of the property was fascinating, and we felt so much more relaxed than if we had stayed at a "business hotel". The host greeted us when we returned each evening to ask how our day was and confirm what time we wanted breakfast the next day. Absolutely lovely experience, and we plan on returning.'

'For what we paid the room was awkward…. With the sink by the bed and the shower not I’m an enclosed room …there were cracks in t by e ceiling and cobwebs in the community space… the breakfast was very disappointing… no bacon or sausage or butter for the waffles …. We were in NH definitely expected bacon and maple syrup for breakfast …. It was more a continental breakfast:('

'Eric is a gracious host. The entire booking and checking in process was very simple. Eric was awesome about giving me a wide variety of hiking areas with directions. I do choose one oh his recommendations. The best part a ready made fire pit! Would recommend and planning to return.'
