'We enjoyed our stay at the cottage. We were 15-20 minutes away from lots of breweries and outdoor dining places yet felt like we were staying in the country. Enjoyed the hot tub and basketball hoop and the fire pit was ready for us when we arrived. Our little dog was welcomed and enjoyed the yard too. Great communication with the owner. There is some noise from the train and road nearby but it did not bother us.'

'Great property close to Cacapon state park. Large open living space and a great kitchen. Only complaint is that many of the electric outlets did not work nor did the microwave. Was also provided the wrong password for the WiFi. The pros outweigh the cons, we have already booked this home again for next year. '

'Thursday afternoon I was looking for a weekend getaway place in the mountains for a 2 night stay on vrbo. This listing was love at first sight. I had couple of questions and quickly messaged the host , who replied back within minutes and that responsiveness was consistent until and after we checked out. 'Beautiful location with huge field surrounded by woods on the river. But the code we were given for the door lock did not work while checking in (which is also the hottest time of day there) and no cel service to contact owner. Luckily lovely neighbors were home, if not we would have had to drive to town to get a cel signal to get the code. The house was not clean, dirty couch, stained carpet, dusty, etc. The shower is very small and its drain does not work well. Well water that smells/tastes...
