'We recently stayed at the parsonage, three generations, and enjoyed it immensely. Everything was exactly as stated in the description. It was clean, comfortable, and easily accessible. The host gave clear directions throughout the whole booking process. We enjoyed a fire by the amazing "babbling brook", and my grandchildren had so much fun playing air hockey in the basement. 'Conveniently located for Virginia Creeper Bike Trail experience and hiking trails. Cute little cottage, clean & well stocked. Property Manager readily available when contacted. Two recommendations: 1)guest bedroom mattress needs upgrade 2) remove poison ivy around tree at grill site/outside light plug.'

'We had a wonderful stay at TrailSide Cottage. It was the perfect fit for our group and close to family in Damascus. We especially enjoyed relaxing outdoors, having dinner on the deck overlooking the river, and sitting by the firepit. We also met the host briefly and he was great!'

'The property was just as described in listing, and as reviewed by others. It was clean, comfortable, and spacious. The property managers responded very quickly to our request for a sponge and hose. The house is on the main street (as are almost all of the vacation rentals in town), and after reading reviews, I packed my Loop ear plugs because I’m a light sleeper. I had no trouble sleeping; slept very soundly in fact!'
