'Off the road private cottage with an at-home feel. Was better than I had imagined, the host provided everything you could possibly need and the place is charmingly decorated. It is just out of the busy area of traffic yet conveniently located for all the Lookout Mountain attractions. The farm critters are welcoming and funny to watch. They helped me not miss my own pets as much while we were away. It is a very relaxing place to stay and we hope to come back again one day.'

'This is fhe perfect tiny home if you're looking to get away from the city. The only noises you'll hear up here are the chickens/roosters across the road, and an occasional dog bark. All to be expected when staying on a farm and not load enough to be heard inside the home. The house itself was gorgeous. Everything you need and nothing you don’t. The bed was so soft and comfortable as were the pillows. The back deck overlooking the woods was so relaxing.'

'We try to stay here annually. We all LOVE the properties by this host. She’s amazing herself & makes sure we have the best stay possible. The detail and work put into her places is amazing. We always find things we didn’t see the first time. There’s lots to do there if you don’t want to leave. Could not have asked for more!!! 'This is a great place to stay for a couple. It’s a small property but the scenery and layout is beautiful. The compost toilet was something new to my wife and I but it wasn’t hard to use. If you and your significant other are looking for somewhere to stay I’d definitely recommend this place. The host is also very accommodating and easy to contact.'

'We stayed one night on a house hunting trip through Dalton. This cottage is adorable and close to downtown. Check in was seamless and there were clear instructions on check out. Also appreciated the list of restaurants and which were locally owned. Highly recommend!'

'everything was just as advertised. The location is perfect, the house was very clean, and the owners were very responsive. There was nothing we needed which wasn't provided. The only complaints from other reviews was road / train noise. I never noticed and it wasn't a bother at all. I would highly recommend and I would definitely stat again.'

It has a full size fridge, a 4 burner stove and oven (not that we cooked). Great lighting throughout. The bathroom is well-appointed. The kitchen sink is the bathroom sink as well. 'The Huckleberry Cottage was spotless clean, well stocked, private and secure. It’s close to town and major attractions. The cottage theme of fishing and lakeside life was reminiscent of slower times and was very relaxing. We look forward to returning.'

'Great location from Cloudland Canyon and Chattanooga. We stayed there to hike Cloudland canyon. It rained all day on one of the days and we made a short drive into Chattanooga. The drive way is long and was good for walking our dog up and down. The house was great and had everything we needed for a couple of day stay.'

'This house was adorable! The quiet neighborhood, peaceful water view, and quaint location was a perfect setting for a relaxing weekend for this momma. My only drawbacks were the missing blinds to a glass windowed side door, which would have been appreciated for more privacy, and a hurting neck for the next few days. I recommend bringing your own pillow. Overall, we had everything we needed for a recuperating retreat and we hope to visit again!'

I would definitely recommend this property for a couple who are wanting to explore the area. We hiked every day and never ran out of places to see. 'Love the place. Soft bed and pretty location. Neighborhood was nice. Close to the city and hiking trails. I recommend if you are coming from the Chattanooga side to take 127 up to the place instead of Anderson pike. Anderson has quite a lot of tight switchback turns which might be tough if you aren't used to them or have a longer vehicle. The house was cute and was a comfortable quiet space.'
