'The suite is old, and so may not appeal to everyone. It doesn't have AC so could be a hot box in summer, but there are plenty of fans and lots of open windows. There is lovely, tiny balcony off the kitchen, facing the back garden. I stayed for just one evening and was quite comfortable. The place suited me perfectly. A must is to walk around the acre or so garden. Margaret is a lovely, friendly host. She recommended a decent restaurant just a couple of hundred metres away. I sampled the...

'We stayed here for a night. The room was very comfortable and had air-conditioning. The staff are very very friendly. They let us park our car there after we checked out so that we could use our bikes to go on a bike ride on the waterfront trail there in Bowmanville. Close by there is a splash pad for kids to play around in. It’s right on Lake Ontario, where you could go for a dip too.'

'The hotel is located by the lake in the centre of the town. Is the service attitude good, but its facilities are slightly better than those of a motel. I wonder why it is classified under IHG on the website.'
