Everything from being able to dock the boat, sitting on the Adirondack chairs, enjoying the evening air and fishing, to the great location in the house was perfect. 'Excellent house in a cute town. Went with a 5 friends - there was plenty of space for everyone to sleep and relax around the house. Very well maintained, very clean, and nice homey touches. Very easy to get in, and get everything to work (hot tub, sauna, etc). Felt like home away from home. Would definitely recommend!'

'My family and I had a great stay at the Skylight Lodge. It is very different from other rentals, being a former inn. There is plenty of space for a big group and the two master suites are great. The fireplace in the main room is like something out of game of thrones, and was the highlight of the trip for the adults. 'We recently stayed at this VRBO rental property the last week of March 2024. It was 3 couples (6 adults), with 4 children (ages 9-13) - and the home was perfect for our group. We skied Stratton Mountain, which was less than 20 minutes away, and visited a spa / went shopping / ate at restaurants in nearby Manchester. The fireplace is fantastic - we spent afternoons and evenings after a day on the slopes cozied up around the fireplace. The game room - with shuffleboard, pool table and ping table...

'Everything about the house was perfect, extremely clean, quality furniture in all rooms, all new appliances in the kitchen, beds were comfortable, had a great time using the fire pit. Pdf about the house gave answers to all questions we had, eliminating need to contact the host for questions. Can’t recommend this house enough if you’re planning a trip to Lake George!'

'Overall the property was clean and tidy for our arrival. Upstairs area perfect for children/extra guests but my partner and I enjoyed the one downstairs just fine. Stairs may be a bit tough for those with walking issues (they are a bit narrow) but otherwise not bad for some 20-somethings like us! Easy access to restaurants/attractions up and down the lake and the pool was nicely kept too.'

'Small, simple, rustic, clean chalet close to Bromley and Stratton. Nothing fancy but served its purpose for a family that spends the whole day on the slopes. Plenty of towels, nice clean linens, and fire wood were welcome inclusions. Trips to Bromley (5 minutes) and Stratton (15 minutes) were easy and convenient.'

'Much of the typical Lake George activities were closed since we visited during April, but we were very happy to stay here and will definitely return! It was the perfect space for us two (with extra to fit an additional friend or 2). Owner provided towels, pans, grill, coffee, etc for the stay which is greatly appreciated. It was close distance to anywhere we needed to go for groceries, activities, stores! Sad to go but I look forward to future travels here :)'
