'Amazing wee olde worlde cottage in a great wee village that is central for driving to other areas but also great for walks in & around the village. The cottage is so lovely & quaint & although small plenty space for 4 people. Such a lovely place.'

'We had a fabulous few days in a lovely cottage. It was situated opposite the village green and there was no problem with parking. There are 2 shops in the village which supplied all immediate needs. A special mention about the bread shop, Dales Bakery, which supplied a range of lovely breads as well as a good breakfast. Would certainly stay here again if we cam to Reeth in the future.'

'Wonderful and well organised property from the comprehensive instruction file covering every gadget in the property to the motion sensor lights which switch on automatically as you walk in the kitchen. Very clean. The welcome pack was like Christmas all over again 😊 short walk into Northallerton so great location too. Highly recommended.'

'The Hen House cottage was a great place to stay for our trip in the Durham area. The village of Brandon is a beautiful location for going for walks in the countryside and with a great pub/ restaurant called the Bay Horse Inn on 50m away it’s a perfect place to stay. The village is very close to the historic house, chapels and gardens of Ushaw and Brancepeth Castle, which are both excellent places to visit!! Would happily stay here again when visiting the area as it’s a perfect little...

'Prettig verblijf, zeker als je van rust en ruimte houdt. Aardige gastvrouw die je graag van dienst wil zijn. Huisje netjes en compleet. Het enige minpuntje was dat wij bij een bepaalde windrichting de autoweg hoorden. Mogelijk maken we nogmaals gebruik van de accomodatie.'

'From the first to the last minutes we had an excellent stay at 'The Lodge' in Frosterley. We thought it would have been too far to walk to the village. But it took J. approx 15 minutes back and forth. In the lodge everything was absolutely fabulous. Some predecessors were not very satisfied with the bed. But it did not bother us. Apart from the friendliness of Julie & John we particularly liked the garden/terrasses with lots of sunshine and many birds like the robins. And at night the owl! So,...

'Lovely place, great location on the high street. Private, off street parking is very helpful - the entrance to it is through a very narrow archway which was a tight squeeze for an SUV. The property itself is well kept & equipped. Very clean and nicely furnished. Communication from the owner by text on the day with all the check in info was very helpful.'
