'The cabin was just as described in the listing. It was a beautiful view of the water and a short walk down to the small beach. Michael, the host, was very accommodating in answering all my questions and was very helpful. While it rained most of our visit, we did get to go zip lining and play some golf. Overall, it was just what we needed--a break from Houston. I would highly recommend this location if you are looking for some peace and quiet, but still be close to fun things to do.'

'The location is great! The water park across the way is geared more for children, but it’s still a fun place to stop by and take a dip in the cold water. It was awesome sitting outside of the bungalow at night! There’s a fire pit and lights above. We only stayed one night, but both of us recommend this location! '

'This place is a great place to stay. My kids thoroughly enjoyed having the water park right across the street and that we got to go every day of our stay! It was great room and I loved that I was able to cook breakfast for my family in the morning. Great and very cute little bungalow! Just a PSA though, is bring everything you could think you may need since the drive back to town is a bit of a drive'

'My husband and I enjoyed our stay here. The house was so cute and cozy. Everything was as described and we felt like we were hidden from view. The mattress could have been a little softer but that is just a personal preference. Marcia was very hospitable and responsive to questions. Would definitely like to return!'

'We stayed here for 4 nights with family and my son's college roommates celebrating his 21st birthday & a bit of R&R before FINALS. The home was very nice and spacious. We were able to grill & cook in the home. The "kids" went to explore a few trails. Unfortunately the temperature dropped & it rained a great deal so we were not able to head to the water as planned. I would recommend the host & their home! We are hoping to return upon next semesters "drop off"'
