Perfect location
We had a great weekend here. It's very dog friendly, it's open concept and couches are covered to allow dogs to be on them as well. It's perfect location on the river and close to Plain and Lake Wenatchee. You can walk to Plain via pesdestrian bridge about a mile down the road for about a 30-40 min walk to Old Mill Cafe, Plain Hardware and ski trails. It's a steep walk to get to the river at the property but it provides beautiful view! Currently the house number isn't out at the street so it's easy to miss.

The cabin was beautiful, but upon our arrival going into the bathroom, first thing we find is three dead bugs, a spider and beetles in the butt bathtub dead my husband almost had a severe head injury from the TV shelf that is so dangerously in the way has a noodle on it, but of course it slid off. You could bash your brains out, going into the bathroom very dangerous, I’ve stayed in over 50 B&B‘s and this is the second time I’ll ever complain about one. The furniture was grotesque absolutely filthy the white couches we had to put towels on them. They had sheets on them cushions. We put towels over the arm rest just have a place to set , the dishes in the cupboard weren’t any better coffee pot was filthy and all the dishes they look like they got it Goodwill they probably have better at Goodwill and the linens on the bed were stained. Thank God we brought a few throws from our house that’s what we use for our bedding . The nice outdoors that you see where you could have a fire they didn’t scrape the snow so you couldn’t even use the outdoor fire pit which was really disappointing. Plus they don’t even give you a house number to find the cabin you would just have to figure it out on your GPS that you went by it . There is no cable or TV other than a bunch of movies and in the master bedroom you can’t even watch anything cause there’s nothing hooked up to the TV. Tell the owners definitely doesn’t care about the customers comfort. It’s no 15 mins to town it’s 40 in snow. Beware!

Quiet getaway
Very nice, comfortable cabins with everything we needed and a very comfortable bed in the master bedroom. Clean and lots of amenities. We enjoyed the puzzles, tv and snow! Couldn’t find any directions on what we needed to do prior to check out.

Quiet spot by the river
Quiet spot by the river about 20 minutes from Leavenworth. Was really nice to make a cup of cocoa and sit outside enjoying the view. Just my husband and our small dog on this trip, the king size bed was very comfortable. The cabin was very well stocked with spices, a lot of movies and games to play. My suggestions for the owner: • A dark couch or leather.. it won’t show wear as much especially with allowing dogs. • Move furniture to look at opposite wall than you have it now.. the tv would be much better on the large wall. It is hazardous where it is placed now with the shelf below when coming out of bathroom we both almost ran into it. • A coffee pot.. I saw filters but maybe someone broke pot before we came? • Replace kitchen faucet.. it’s hard to maneuver with the piece missing. • A stopper in bathtub would be nice 😊 Such a large tub but unable to take a bath. • Barbecue needs to be replaced or fixed.. was unable to light it. These items were not deal breakers!! We loved the place. Just wanted to bring them to your attention. Thanks for a great time!

Great property with access to the river!
My friend, her 2 kids and my 2 dogs loved the property. The kids and dogs had a great time exploring the property and going down the trail to play in the river. My friend and i enjoyed sitting on the back patio enjoying the river view during the day and the stars at night. Rooms were spacious and location was great for visiting Leavenworth. There's a grocery store and restaurant within a 5 min drive. It's extremely peaceful and quiet and you can hear the church bells on Sunday.

Overall thought the property was great. Only issue was with teenage children and not having cable television. DVD system was also confusing as we had to use the playstation. Very comfortable as it had all the necessities.

Winter wonderland
Really enjoyed our stay. The cabin was warm and had everything we needed. A lot of snow, but we had no issues getting in and out of the driveway (with a 4WD). Our dog also loved the ‘new place’ and all the snow.

Great place to enjoy some peace and quiet!
Wonderful cabin, especially since the owner seems to understand that dogs are important parts of many families! even allowing pets, this rental is clean and well appointed. Plenty of items to make the stay more convenient. We had some amazing BBQ in the nearby town of Plain as well! The only drawback to this rental right now is that the outdoor areas need attention. Cosmetically in the front, but the trail down to the river could be difficult for anyone older or for children. A safer trail down to the river would really help certain family members not to be isolated from the group. Thanks for sharing your beautiful cabin!

Not what we expected...
We stayed at this property for three nights, and found it lacking the details we usually expect from VRBO properties. Here are things we found disappointing and reasons we would not rent here again: Yard in poor shape - overgrown weeds and construction materials are the first thing we saw when we arrived;. A broken piece of plywood and a log covering part of the septic. Basically, the yard was definitely unusable. Path to the river is steep and dangerous; second deck damaged and in disrepair, also dangerous with a broken railing. Tree debris everywhere. Chairs are old and in disrepair. Inside the house - soiled cream colored sofas, broken door frame for one bedroom, no broom, smell of cigars, badly scratched floors under the sofas and scratched doors, barbecue was dirty. Shelf below TV is in a dangerous location close to bathroom door and at eye level...hit the corner once in the face and several near misses. This needs to be addressed. There were some good things too -. The king bed was comfortable, the house was cute despite the drawbacks listed, and the neighbors were quiet. Overall, the house is quaint but needs some attention to details, especially the grounds to bring the rental value up to what they are charging. As is, we would not rent here again.

This cabin is great!
Close to Leavenworth but far enough away for piece and quiet. Cabin has a great layout and awesome view of the river. Trail to the river is a little overgrown so it was difficult to get down to the edge. The outside area is functional and private, however, there’s potential for a fantastic outdoor space hopefully in the future. Dogs loved it. Look forward to the next visit.

Not clean and cabin needs attention
The house wasn't clean. I cleaned the one toilet that hadn't been properly scrubbed in a while and smelled bad. The sofas, sofa pillows, etc were very dirty. Found pretzels, dirt & rocks under cushions. Dishes and utensils were put away dirty. The carpets all needed cleaning. The house had lots of dust and cobwebs. Broken window frame/lock, scratched up floors, slats on bunk bed missing, sofa bed broken, broken kitchen cabinet, interior door frame broken. Batteries in PS4 remote to control tv, were dead and didn't charge and no available charging cable. Exterior - unfinished shed with old Tyvex that blew around, piles of construction wood and junk left around the property. Old outdoor grill, not an amenity. Deck to the river broken. Yard not picked up from previous dogs.

Beautiful location
This really is a lovely spot right on the river. The house is cute and comfortable. Only 25 minutes from Leavenworth and only 5 to Plain which has an adorable grocery, hardware/gift shop, and restaurant. My only complaints...1. the kitchen is really not set up to do any major cooking. There is only a single mixing-type bowl and no non-metal spatulas to use with the non-stick pans (which is probably why they are in the shape they are). It's certainly adequate for light cooking but don't plan to do a dinner party here. 2. is that the curb appeal of the home is pretty lacking. There are piles of unused construction materials, an unfinished shed, and the field in front of the house is just weedy and not very attractive. However that is all purely aesthetics and the view out the back of the home to the river is lovely.

Great home in the Mountains
The home is about 27 min away from the town. It is a bit of a drive especially in the snow. The drive is so beautiful with the snowy mountains all around. The house was in a beautiful location. We are very satisfied with our stay. We would come back again the following holiday.

Nice home and location, but no communication
The home was nice and in a good location next to the river. The one bathroom arrangement worked with 4 adults. I tried to communicate to get help with a potential date change of one day and got no response. We were unable to access the wifi because there was no password given to us and it wasn't printed anywhere in the house. That would have been a disaster if we had work or schoolwork to do online.

We really enjoyed our stay
The property was just as portrayed. A couple things need to be addressed. The refrigerator made a loud sound and went away when it was opened. A knife was put back in the knife block dirty. You need more glasses. The salt and pepper needed to be replaced as they were empty. Light bulbs missing in lights. Also a table lamp in the living room would have been nice. Garbage bag liners did not fit the garbage can in the kitchen so we bought some that were larger. Also we did not have enough dishwasher tablets and had to buy more. The master bed was comfortable but the other beds were very hard so made it difficult to have a good night sleep. These are all fairly minor issues. Just think it would help make the stay more enjoyable.

This house was not prepared for rental.
We spent the entire first night and some of the next morning dealing with inoperable heaters in two bedrooms, a super slick/icy driveway/entry with no salt or ice melt (container was empty and snow shovel was broken), and a dying WiFi router that meant we couldn't get online, use the TV's, or even make a phone call (no cell service and no landline). The home had no instruction sheet, unlike every other vacation rental I've encountered. Long story short, the part of our vacation that we spent at the house itself was not much of a vacation because we were coordinating repairs and doing maintenance. I missed a friend's 50th birthday party (on Zoom) because, despite the fact that previous reviews mentioned problems with the WiFi, it hadn't been addressed and instead just deteriorated to the point that it wasn't functional at all by the time we got there. Even after that was repaired, we couldn't use the TVs because the Apple ID provided by the owner didn't work and after hours of troubleshooting, we were sick of it. Even if the Apple TV had worked, we wouldn't have been able to watch the NFL playoffs or the news because there is no network or cable TV - just Apple. (Not quite accurate to say that the property has TV.) There's also a dangerously placed shelf right outside the bathroom door. It opens right into an eye-level shelf corner - I can't believe anyone ok'd that placement. We taped a washcloth over it so no one gashed their head open on it. (I have photos if anyone wants to see.)

Beautiful Cabin. Beautiful Location. Reason for only 4 stars.
Beautiful little cabin. Perfect setting. Excellent experience with the management. We really enjoyed our experience except... Reason for 4 stars: The house was not well cleaned. Dog hair all over the furniture. The furniture was stained and dirty and not cleaned. Floors hadn't been well cleaned, especially within 6 inches of the wall. Everything smelled like Fabreeze had been sprayed on it, but it hadn't been cleaned. We contacted the management and they were awesome. They resolved our concerns and promised that they would remedy the situation. So, I hope that the cleaning crew has improved their standards for future clients because it was only the low quality of cleaning, especially in the living area, that kept this from being a higher review. Hint to future guests: Contact the management right away if you notice a cleanliness problem.

Quiet place in the woods
Upon arrival there were a couple small issues that were quickly remedied. I received a call within 10 minites and all issues resolved within 18hrs- given the house is remote. Very cute, comfortable cabin, with a wonderful cozy bed! Lots to explore! Loved it.

Cute House, Terrible Wi-fi
The house was great! Everything was clean and pretty well stocked. The beds were great and comfortable. I had 5 teenagers with me and all the beds were perfect. There were tons of DVD's and several video games. But the wifi was terrible! It worked for about 10 minutes at a time and then you had to reset the modem. This was especially annoying/ dangerous because I had no cell service out there. The only other bad thing was that the lock on the front door sticks. You have to really push down on the handle to get it to lock. At first, I couldn't get it to lock and tried to call the number to report it, but had no cell service. So I emailed and got no reply. I finally figured it out after playing with it for a while. The house overlooks the river and is a 5-minute drive from a beautiful beach on the lake. Overall, a great trip! Would definitely return if they fixed the wifi!!

Beautiful Home
Stayed for a weekend getaway with another couple, and their dog. Plenty of room for the five of us. The house is even nicer then the pictures, with an outstanding river view! Easy to find, just a short drive to Leavenworth, about 15 minutes. We weren’t able to figure out the tv, and the password for the WiFi didn’t work, but that’s not what we were there for, so it really wasn’t a big deal. We were pleasantly surprised when we arrived to find a fire pit on the back patio, along with lounge chairs. The house was stocked with everything we needed for a memorable weekend.

Communication from the property manager was terrible. The Wi-Fi button does not work. The cleaning place left a full can of trash so there was no where to put our garbage. The location was great we enjoyed the river but those two things could make this day better

Comfortable cabin in great location.
The interior was clean and very pleasant. We only used one bedroom and other family slept in a van due to Covid. The grounds around the cabin had some trash that should be picked up. We loved being above the river and enjoyed the viewing deck part way down to the river. The old adoranak chairs on the deck are pretty wobbly so we were glad we had brought our own chairs.

Save your money
To much deferred maintenance. Carpets heavily stained, heater in one bedroom has fan scraping plus blowing cold air and extremely loud. Couches are white and heavily stained as are throw rugs/carpet runners. Bathroom cabinet door is broken off and set in corner of bathroom. There is so much dust on the ceiling fan in surprised it still turns. Door sills are full of dirt and bugs we stopped counting on how many insects we killed inside the house after 12. Mostly spiders. The yard if you call that is unusable for any games as it's unkept, ubeven. The patio furniture is a joke and mostly broken. The patio is covered in debris. The underside of the bunk beds have graffiti with broken slabs with several comments not for children. There is a on site guest book that has several comments regarding deferred maintenance and upkeep however, don't think anyones reading it. I took a ton of pictures prior to us moving in and am willing to share with anyone who wants to see them. Definitely not worth the money due to lack of upkeep. Property management company not much better as left 3 emails with questions prior to our date with zero response. Called number provided to also get questions answered with over 2 hour hold time. Call got dropped after 1hr 54min on hold. Have up. Not looking for any refund or money back more interested in forgetting about the whole experience. Would not recommend this property or working with Vacasa.
