The apartment is spacious and modern with a well equipped kitchen and it is near to all the amenities and a short walk to the Diablo ski lift. The main bedroom in our apartment was over the street. We asked to move as it was particularly noisy but residence was fully booked. We had asked for a quiet apartment before arriving. The resort snow plough's started at 4am on the Saturday we left revving up and down the street scraping along the footpath and road. On Christmas Day and Christmas Eve this started at 6am! Residence also has a policy of guests either cleaning themselves or paying for it. Our apartment was not particularly clean when we arrrived. There was food in the sink and up the sides. Utensils had been put away dirty. We decided to pay for our clean but evidently the people staying above us decided to do it themselves and had the hoover out at 1.30am. Couple this with the snow plough's starting at 4am and you can understand how much sleep we got the night before our departure. In terms of the bedroom, light streams in off the street. The curtains were also falling off the railings when we arrived. I re-spaced and hooked the curtains. Enjoyed the jacuzzi and the steam room most days, but it is only open between 4 and 6. Ideally it should be longer. The jacuzzi was also out of order on the last evening.Scrapping the cleaning policy and adding shutters to the windows over the street to help block out light and noise would help as otherwise the apartment is perfect.
