'We travelled with a group of 5 couples and stayed in the Welty House, known for being part of the ghost tours in Gettysburg. The rooms were decorated in period furniture. There was a beautiful courtyard with tables and chairs where we were able to gather. The beds are very firm, so this made it difficult for some to sleep. Rooms have electric fireplaces (except the Georgia room) which warmed up the rooms nicely. They moved me from the Georgia Room after the first night as the gas fireplace was...

'We stayed at the Mooreland Garden Inn on a recent weekend. To say that this place is a gem is an understatement. The hosts, Dawn and Bruce, are amazing, both in their kindness, ability to meet your needs, and generosity. They go above and beyond. The house itself is beautiful and situated in a quiet, walkable area right adjacent to the Dickinson College campus. We walked everywhere since it was so convenient. The room was generous, and we were asked about our comfort and the temperature....

'The location and off street parking are optimal. Who doesn't like to see Abraham Lincoln from their bed or hear church bells chime! Loved some of the historic features! The stairs up the apartment are a cool curve but a lot. A few little things...towel hook near the shower, hook for hand towel, WD-40 the squeaky door, more comfortable seating...would go a long way. Overall we enjoyed ourselves but really weren't in the apartment much over the weekend. Would highly recommend to others!!'
