Historisch Algiers Point - Charmant, veilig, in de buurt van wijk

Ruim, recent gerenoveerd appartement (1118 m²) in het historische, charmante Algiers Point, direct aan de overkant van de Franse wijk. Neem de veerboot overdag naar de wijk en keer 's nachts naar huis terug naar de op een na oudste wijk van New Orleans, en geniet van de charme (en rustig!) na je feestvieringen.

Een van de veiligste delen van New Orleans en dicht bij alles. Geweldige plek voor gezinnen of familiegroepen. Babybenodigdheden (pack-n-play, kinderstoel en servies voor kinderen) verstrekt.

Dit appartement is de helft van een dubbel jachtgeweer en heeft een traditionele plattegrond van het jachtgeweer, waarbij de ene kamer de andere volgt: woonkamer (slaapbank, 3 "traagschuim topper), slaapkamer 1 (twee queensize bedden), slaapkamer (1 queensize bed), hal / badkamer 1 (douche / bad-combinatie), keuken, slaapkamer 2 (1 queensize bed), badkamer 2 (douche). Alle bedden hebben 12 "traagschuim matrassen.

Volledige keuken met alle benodigdheden voor het koken en serveren van volledige maaltijden, inclusief potten en pannen, mengkommen, vergiet, mixer, magnetron, gasfornuis en oven, enz.

Het appartement kijkt uit op een prachtig park en historische kerk, en ligt op een steenworp afstand van de plaatselijke coffeeshop en drie huizen tot aan de hoekwinkel, Faubourg Fresh Market.

De veerboot van Algiers Point ligt op ongeveer 6 straten lopen en de veerboot zet u af aan de voet van Canal Street, grenzend aan de Franse wijk en het Central Business District. De veerbootstop grenst ook aan de Riverwalk Mall, een groot outlet-winkelcentrum langs de rivier, en ligt op een steenworp afstand van Harrah's Casino. Het Central Business District is de thuisbasis van veel van de meest gevierde restaurants van New Orleans, waaronder Domenica, August, Luke, Palace Cafe, Acme Oyster House, Redfish Grill, Dickie Brennan's Steakhouse, Bon Ton Cafe en nog veel meer. De eerste veerboot is om 06.00 uur en de laatste veerboot terug is om 23:45 uur op vrijdag- en zaterdagavond en 21.45 uur van zondag tot donderdag.

U huurt het gehele appartement en de aangelegde achtertuin, waartoe u tijdens uw verblijf exclusief toegang heeft. Toegang tot het appartement is via een toetsenblokkering waaraan u een persoonlijke code krijgt, zodat u zich op elk moment, dag of nacht kunt binnenlaten.

HOME AWAY FROM HOME

The property was just as pictured! No hidden surprises. It gave us a homey feel and the neighbors and neighborhood added to that ambiance. Our stay was short, only four days, but we gathered on the front porch daily to drink in the scenery and enjoy the outdoors! The area is centrally located and convenient to all areas of the city on both banks of the river. Thank you Josh and we look forward to staying in your beautiful home again !

Just Perfect

My husband and I always stay in Algiers whenever we visit New Orleans. This rental was beyond perfect for us. Not only is it convenient to the Ferry and our favorite breakfast and taco spots, but it has all the amenities of home. It was clean and comfortable. There was even a welcome goody basket in the kitchen. Our host was quick to respond to any questions we had. The hidden patio in the back was a perfect coffee spot each morning! We will definitely stay here again on our next visit!

A cozy retreat in a jewel of a neighborhood

The house was lovely and comfortable for my entire family of 5. Algiers Point is perfect for families with the park just outside the house and so many restaurants and cafes within a few blocks. Excellent Location

This was a perfect location for our visit. We weren't there for the nightlife but for cultural experiences and relaxation. The home is charming and comfortable. The neighborhood is perfect. While some gentrification has occured there is still an interesting mix of people who live in the neighborhood. We were surrounded by parks, dog walkers, kids walking to and from school, charming restaurants, and beautiful homes. We took the ferry to and from the French Quarter area every day.

Adorable Shotgun Style house in a clean neighborhood that’s close to everything.

We had a great stay here. The property is well maintained and very clean. The neighborhood is quiet and clean but still close to the ferry and other attractions. The local community is pretty cool. Lots of fun places to eat and shop. My favorite part of the property was the backyard oasis. It is full of greenery and set up so well. This is a great place to stay with a small group or a family.

Hidden Gem

This house in Algiers Point was definitely a hidden gem! The neighborhood was lovely. There were little stores, cafes and bars that you could walk to. The ferry was just a few blocks away. My family and I had a wonderful stay. The house was fully stocked. Whatever you thought you might need was provided by the host. Our host Josh was very accommodating. He was available to answer any questions and offer suggestions. I can’t say enough about how nice the property was. It’s far enough away from the city to have some peace and quiet and close enough to enjoy all the festivities of the city. I highly recommend staying there when you visit the New Orleans area.

Loved this house!

This is a quintessential New Orleans shotgun house that is terrific. Our family of 6 adults stayed here and enjoyed it. While we were there, we got to see a Second Line (a parade for all of us non-New Orleans people) after a wedding and it was so fun to participate! This place is absolutely charming.

Spring Break Trip

The house was located in the historical section of Algiers across the river (short ferry ride) of New Orleans. This was the perfect location for a family. The house was clean and very spacious. It has charm and character, makes you feel right at home. Josh was a great host and made sure we had everything that we needed for our stay. The local pizza restaurant he recommended down the street was awesome as well. Will definitely be back!!

Exceptionally Clean Home in Algiers

The rental was sparkling clean and true to pictures. The beds were very comfortable and the house was well equipped. We appreciated the coffee and basket that welcomed us and the backyard space is beautiful. There were a few hiccups during our stay that we addressed with the owner and he was very quick to respond. The outlets in the back bathroom did not work, but he was going to remedy that immediately. Mostly though, the house was lovely and beautifully decorated. We enjoyed all the different art pieces on the walls. The home also was comfortable, quiet, and in a great location; the neighborhood was pretty and historic. We felt safe and enjoyed taking the easy walk to the ferry for a quick ride to the French Quarter. My only caveat is the area is a bit of a grocery store desert, so pick up supplies beforehand, if you can. There is a little store down the street and another a few blocks away, but selection is limited - we picked up items before coming over on the ferry, especially since it was late day Sunday and those 2 stores were closed. There is a wonderful glass blowing shop and a couple of restaurants nearby. Josh was very easy to work with and I would recommend staying in this rental, especially if you want to experience a different kind of New Orleans adventure.
