'The place is literally falling apart. The concrete roof above my head in one of the breezways literally crumbled less than a few seconds of me walking under it. I took a picture of the aftermath with the chuncks of concrete and rusted rebar on the floor. This place is the textbook definition of 'you get what you pay for'. At around $55 a night, it was bound to be in poor condition. '

'The area where the hotel was located was really nice and the room where super clean you could smell the bleach when you walk in the bed sheets looked and smell clean overall i had a good experience stating here i would definitely book here again.. oh by the way theres a gas station a mcdonalds and a dennys walking distance.'

'The main reason I stayed here is I saw they have full size fridges with freezers in the room. I bring my own food when traveling and the lack of a separate freezer unit in most hotels is limiting. The price was also great for just an overnight or as a basecamp for doing some hiking. I liked the layout/furniture of the rooms as well. Instead of a big table or chest taking up room, there are large open shelves under the TV to keep your things off the floor. Be aware, if you are clumsy like me,...

'The place is okay, nothing fancy for the price, just a place to sleep overnight! Plenty of parking, washroom is clean, tv, microwave and a fridge! Internet a bit slow, 4 stars for the value but don’t expect anything more. You get for what you pay, good enough for me'

'As advertised. Drip coffee was actually drinkable compared to many places that provide coffee. Definitely would stay again. Only upgrade would be for them to have a hot tub! '

'Definitely a motel, the pictures are nice but when you walk in it’s just not okay. I’m not sure if it’s because I’m not from Texas but this was the highest rated but the ratings were a lie. If your room is unstairs, you want to run right back down them. The carpet in the hallways are filthy before you get to the room. If your room is downstairs and you never see upstairs then you may say the motel is OKAY. It’s ran down but looks like it’s getting fixed up a little bit so I will give them that....

'It was ok in the courtyard area. Easy to get to your vehicle. My daughter unexpectedly came with me and my husband. I ask for a cot or something was just told don’t have any. Never ask if we needed extra blankets etc to help with her stay. She slept on the floor using whatever we could to make it more comfortable. '

'Main building is restored Vermont-style. Looks really nice and includes a good restaurant (good menu, friendly staff, reasonable prices). Motelrooms are clean and spacious from the inside and - we guess - are getting an exterior update. '
