Historische hotels in Noord-Kyoto

'Great place. It was even better than we expected!'

'This small hotel is really cute. The rooms are clean, equipped and super nice! The staff was really helpful and polite. They have breakfast and they have 2 light meals during the day which were good and perfect for what they are. Really happy with the property and the experience. I loved the bathtub with view on the interior garden.'

'食事も京都らしくて、大満足でした'

'Our room was clean and spacious. Finding it was a challenge for the local cab driver. The breakfast was just breads but I enjoyed the mugwort rolls! I’d recommend that they add a washer/dryer to some rooms. Also, the sleeping clothes were a little worn. Mine was missing an important button. The staff were friendly but it could be hard to communicate with them over the phone.'

'Our stay here was the highlight of a three week vacation in Japan. It is an unique, deep immersion into Japan culture and hospitality while still being comfortable for non-Japanese. The tranquility and quality of the environment, the accommodations, and the food were exceptional. The staff were friendly, helpful, and made us feel very welcome. They savored their role as guides into the culture and traditions that they offered. While it was a very traditional experience, the facilities...

'A very nice hotel at a convenient location. Beautiful spacious room (Signature De Luxe) with 2 big beds, a window that could be opened for fresh air, a nice bathroom with separate wc and shower. Superb breakfast and very friendly staff. Only one point to improve: the smoking area close to the beautiful entrance should be closed immediately. Does not fit to this eco hotel. We will be back!'

'Beautiful property and great location'

'Since we were not informed in advance that dinner reservations were required when booking the room, we missed dinner and were told upon arrival that all slots were fully booked. Dinner was a key reason we chose this hotel, so this was particularly disappointing. Additionally, there was construction noise outside the hotel during the night, which affected our stay.'

'Expensive breakfast and not worth the price- only negative. Hotel is within a cab ride of all attractions or a 20 minute walk. Staff are very friendly and hotel is clean and rooms are beautiful.'

'Ideal location for visiting Kyoto. Entrance to the most useful subway line is right across the hotel at a 2 minute walk. Rooms are extremely spacious, about the biggest we ever had for this price. Subway prices are very cheap, around €5,- for a day pass. Located next to the international Convention Centre in a very good area. Also lots of shop within a 10 min. walk.'

'The Front desk and Concierge were amazing and set me up for an amazing Japan Adventure'

'Customer service was excellent.'

'Heel mooie kamer'

'We absolutely loved this hotel! Fantastic location that was out of the busyness of the main districts but in close walking proximity to convenience stores, restaurants, places for coffee and breakfast, and of course the castle and the imperial palace grounds. Great rooms - such a fantastic size for Japan, which was great for our crawling ten month old who wanted to crawl and pull himself up on everything. Staff were lovely and accommodating. We will definitely stay here again.'
