At this point in our trip, we were used to the smaller room and we made it work with our 2 personal items (backpacks), 2 carry ons, and 2 check in luggages. 'Beautiful hotel in a great and quite location of Kyoto. Upon arrival our forwarded luggage was waiting for us on our well appointed executive room, it was big enough for our family of three.Very comfortable beds, spacious bathroom, and the most gorgeous view to the mountains. Walking distance to Gion and so many temples. Service at the hotel is top notch. And the shuttle bus to/from the station is a great addition. Could not have stayed in a better place than this. We will certainly recommend...

'I highly recommend this location if you plan to travel around Kyoto heavily. The staff will treat you nicely and will address any questions or concerns. There are nearby konbini for budget travellers as well as the food courts and restaurants by the train station 2 minute walk away. There is also a shop for necessities next to the train station.
