'I loved staying here. This is in a great area of downtown Kyoto where it is super walkable and there is easy access to trains and buses. The staff is so kind and accommodating and the Japanese breakfast is super delicious. It was nice to get the ryokan/ minshuku (ish) traditional experience with the amenities and comfort of a proper hotel. I don't know why anyone would stay at a traditional western hotel while in Kyoto, this is the real Japanese hotel experience in my opinion. The tatami mat...
