'Property is old and not in the best condition. It was clean but dingy. The beds were soft but squeaky and dipped towards the middle. Hot water ran out during shower. Wifi was very spotty/slow. Front desk staff was friendly.'

'Het positive aan dit hotel is dat het aan de overkant van de straat ligt van pretpark Kings Dominion. Verder was het een wat kleine kamer. De kamer was vies en er hing een vreemde geur in het hotel. Met vies bedoel ik dat de oude contactlenzen van de vorige gast nog op de vloer lagen. Ook vonden we oude bier dopjes en zaten er vlekken op de vloer. Daarnaast waren de kamers erg gehorig en konden zowel de mensen naast ons als boven ons horen. '

'I love the TRU by Hilton chain! The hotels are fresh and looking modern and young. They’re clean and are also focused on younger people who do remote working. I always book a hotel from that chain and the one in Ashland was no exception. Breakfast is typically US, so not the best but super bad either.'

'We found a few stains on our bed sheets, making it uncomfortable to sleep since we were grossed out. There is a railroad immediately behind the hotel which I was not aware of, otherwise we would have have booked it. I’m so upset since I booked this hotel as a means to rest from a long road trip. From the gross bed to the noisy train, we did not get as much rest as intended. '

'General ok place to stay. However small rooms, can be noisy if other guest stay out long. And gap between door and floor is big. So expect crawling friends.'

'I picked this hotel because it was right off 95, and there were lots of choices to go and grab something to eat nearby. I also was traveling with a small dog and this place accommodated that. The staff were curtious and helpful. The room was very nice and clean. I would stay here again'
