Beach House Shoalwater

Gelegen aan de absolute waterkant biedt het Beach House een prachtig 180 graden uitzicht over Shoalwater Bay en de eilanden. Het ligt direct tegenover een toegangspad tot ongerepte, beschutte stranden en biedt een idyllische vakantielocatie voor degenen die genieten van ontspannen op het strand. Aan het einde van de dag geniet u van een diner en een glas wijn op het balkon terwijl de zon ondergaat over de Indische Oceaan.

Deze vakantie-accommodatie aan het strand ligt ongeveer 40 minuten ten zuiden van Perth. Veel van de spannende activiteiten waar de kust van Rockingham bekend om staat, liggen op slechts een korte loopafstand. Voor degenen die genieten van de levensstijl van het café, bezoekt u een van de vele cafés, restaurants of wijnbars aan de waterkant van Palm Beach, op vijf minuten rijden van het strandhuis, voor ontbijt, lunch of diner. U kunt ook naar Pengos lopen, aan het strand tegenover Penguin Island, en uw latte delen met de pelikanen.

The Beach House is geschikt voor 7, in drie slaapkamers - 2 Queen en 3 eenpersoonsbedden. Geniet vanuit de woonkamer of vanaf het balkon van een ononderbroken uitzicht over Penguin Island, Seal Island en Shag Rock. Pretty disappointing stay overall, fixtures and fittings were very dated & tired, however the location is excellent. Water poured through the utility room ceiling on a couple of occasions due to storms, so spent a few hours squeegeeing water out the utility room door otherwise the place would have flooded, not what I should have been doing on holiday and for the overall price of the accommodation was very disappointed.

The location is primo. Although the house is a little tired and worn, it is comfortable and has everything you need. A second toilet would be a good addition I have stayed three times now and will book it again. Thanks Steve

Terrific ocean views just unfortunate we visited during windy/rainy conditions. Check-in was easy. The house was very comfortable but only one bathroom (toilet is separate to shower area) and there is no dishwasher. Toilet in the house broke within 24 hours of being there and wasn't fixed until the day before we left. There was a second toilet but that was located in the second story Apart from that, we enjoyed a wonderful time here. D&J

Amazing Location

We were so impressed with our accommodation, very comfortable with plenty of room for all family members to sit together. The kitchen was very well equipped. Bedding was comfortable and cozy. The view was spectacular and having direct access to the most beautiful beach was beyond special. Having coffee on the upstairs balcony was a treat. Will definitely stay at the property again and have already recommended it to friends and family.

All amenities in a perfect location

The location actually deserves more than 5 stars: terrific oceanviews. The house is spacious and fully equipped. The host is extremely helpful and check-in was very pleasant. In our opinion it lacks a 100% 5-star luxury appearance: no direct airco in the master bedroom, the windows deserve a cleaning, the many different locks are inconvenient, the BBQ was not immediately ready for use and a dishwasher is missing. Apart from that, we enjoyed a wonderful time here. D&J

The images are deceptive. The home has a strange layout and atmosphere. Individual locks on each bedroom/rooms can be opened from the outside, but no keys are provided. An air conditioner in the living room is meant to cool the master bedroom, but you need to leave the door between it and the living room open. It is also responsible for cooling the dining and kitchen areas, which is a bit of a stretch. There is also a second entrance to the master bedroom, but no ensuite. The upgrades are adequate but have a home-made quality. There is no dishwasher, so please be aware. We had to wash the dishes before we used them as the previous tenants had left food remnants on them. The main concern for us was the second bathroom, which is located separately from the main house in the room above the garage. To access it at night, you would need to go through the small courtyard where we saw spiders and webs, up the exposed stair case, and remember to bring the key to unlock the door. The property is located on the corner of a block and the traffic noise was disruptive. We were woken at 5:30 am by the revving of a loud engine of a passing car. The beautiful view from the balcony overlooking Shoalwater Bay was spoiled by the continuous noise of the traffic driving past. We checked out after 3 nights (some after 1) of an 11 night booking. We contacted the owners within hours but have not heard from them since. Not a relaxing retreat if you want to spend time in the house.

hop, skip and jump to the beach!

we had a lovely stay at Shoalwater Beach house, the house was neat and clean on arrival and we loved the way we could just cross the road to the beach. The views from the house, especially the beautiful upstairs area! were beautiful, looking straight at Penguin Island, and the path along the road goes for miles which makes for a great walk or bikeride. Would certainly recommend!

Great weekend getaway

We had a great time. The house has 2 lounge spaces (one a bit separated from the rest of the home & upstairs) so was great for older kids to have their own space. The owners left us access to many of the little basics that I always forget to pack - sugar, cooking oil etc. Great access to beach walks.

Weird layout of house, great position, locks on doors make it child proof

Stove has a Gas Leak, we kept smelling Gas in the kitchen , cockroaches both dead and alive and roach poo on dishes? Also No Dishwasher in so called Modern Kitchen, so Mum didn’t get a real holiday and I still had to wash dishes. Great View from upstairs veranda but weird setup of rooms. Could use fold out sofa bed up in top room for extra beds and larger TV. Automatic watered hose sprays everywhere over and under Steps and door (with start of Woodrott )and makes it very Slippery and sprays courtyard and not on garden? Cracks in retaining Wall and looks like it may give way, dangerously rocks fell down while water was on? Downstairs shower has very slippery tiles , with a deceptive step down , (No Warning Sign) not level with floor and I slipped over several times. The downstairs toilet door does Not close for privacy despite two locks on door? Basically looks like a home handy man has half heartedly done maintenance but hasn’t finished the whole job? The AirConditioner and fan didn’t work in second bedroom after a couple of days, told owners, they said they would ring me back after talking to Electrician but nothing happened? Taps that had no water and taps with wrong signage of hot and cold taps. Dishes, glasses are chipped and not full set. Their Old and needs replacing? The fridge has limited shelves and no door shelves for milk etc? The Baby’s fold up Crib was disgustingly dirty, so we didn’t use it for my newborn granddaughter? Stained Blankets too? With a bit of proper maintenance, full cleaning of linen, blankets, windows , screens and jobs finished properly could have heaps of potential? Attention to detail of the house would really make a difference to the entire experience!
