Room was cozy and the mini living room addition to room with a pullout couch made if feel more spacious. Bed was super comfortable and had antique feel of the furniture and house. the self serve (honor system) bar and array of board games made for a nice relaxing night in by the gas fire place. The coffee and grab and go fruit/snacks, muffins was timely and perfect for starting out our day....

'The cottage was clean and bright. The location was convenient to many interesting towns and attractions and was in a safe and quiet area. The bonus was the sauna that was also very clean and enjoyed by both of us. This was not a 5 star hotel but a perfect place for us to celebrate our 40th Anniversary without the disturbances typically associated with a hotel. THANK YOU!!'

'The pictures shown on the listing are exact. The place was cozy and clean with many amenities provided, which made the stay quite comfortable. This guest house in Kingston worked out great for our purposes. It was quite private and the greenhouse was a welcome entrance with the beautiful plants. I understand we are going through difficult times but if you don't know how to deal with the stress of the situation then close your business. I asked for hot water in a paper cup for a medication. The owner made a fuss about it. The TV in the room wasn't working the owner got frustrated after he found out. Go someplace else where they would appreciate your business.'

'Came up to the area for live music. I had my daughter meet me there for the weekend so we can have peaceful quality time together. We accomplished that with this stay. We found our way to the river and spend most of our time chilling and catching up there. Bring bug spray! The cottage was just enough for our needs. We would recommend this retreat to anyone looking to unplug and regroup. We ourselves would stay again for sure!'

'I’ve read some other comments about this being an older property. Honestly, any motel is going to be older. I found this motel to be in very good condition overall. My room was very clean and very comfortable. It was fully stocked with all of the typical hotel items. The kitchen was stocked with most anything you would need, though I only stayed one night and did not cook. The back yard was full of several small decks, grills, and other items that would allow you to enjoy a summer evening...
