'Happy Minnewaska is a great place for making memories! Our family really enjoyed our time there, relaxing, hiking in the surrounding area and making s'mores around the campfire. 'Came up to the area for live music. I had my daughter meet me there for the weekend so we can have peaceful quality time together. We accomplished that with this stay. We found our way to the river and spend most of our time chilling and catching up there. Bring bug spray! The cottage was just enough for our needs. 'I’ve read some other comments about this being an older property. Honestly, any motel is going to be older. I found this motel to be in very good condition overall. My room was very clean and very comfortable. It was fully stocked with all of the typical hotel items. The kitchen was stocked with most anything you would need, though I only stayed one night and did not cook.
