Great location, relaxing atmosphere with a variety of entertainment. Water Aerobics, water spin classes, karaoke and shows and live music at Legends.
The staff were incredibly friendly and truly elevated the experience. Tanya (manager at Lola Beach), Norma and Luis (servers at Lola Beach), and Martin (pool side server) exceeded every expectation.
The rooms were decent size and clean, but dated. Humidity is evident with some mildew spots in the shower.
The food experience was a bit disappointing. I highly recommend upgrading to Club Level, but wait until you arrive. We declined it the first day, then upgraded the last 2 days after seeing the breakfast options at the buffet. Club Level does get you access to Lola Beach for breakfast, which really was the best dining we experienced. I found it disappointing that the website states Club Level gets you reservations to restaurants, only to find out this is not true. Additionally, there was a large party who was able to reserve Capri Grille for 1.5 hours. There were no signs posted and when we arrived for dinner at 6:30, we were told to return at 7:30 to get a table. We asked if we needed reservations and were told we did not. We returned at 7:40 only to be told there would be a 40 minute wait because we had not put our name on the list. So, off to Lola Beach (again). Dining options become limited after a few days.
