Charming Cottage with Expansive Hudson River Views

The Swan Cottage was built in 1923 and was fully renovated in 2020. The idyllic location, on a bluff overlooking the Hudson River, is the perfect perch to relax and get away from it all. The front porch is a nice spot to have a cup of coffee and watch the sailboats on the river, while the huge wraparound porch affords terrific views of the river as well as the forest that gives this home a feeling of being high in the tree tops.

Beautiful cottage!

We enjoyed our too-short stay at this beautifully remodeled old cottage! Such a treat with wonderful art work and modern kitchen and bathroom and delightful antique details. Nice location with views of the Hudson, quiet neighborhood, and easy to get to Kingston dining or the local Port Ewen Diner. Highly recommended!

Hudson Valley home away from home

Wonderful updated and charming stay! Across the street from an amazing antique shop with coffee bar. Sit outside and take in the river view - it was a perfect and our host Marie made everything so easy.

The perfect, Quiet retreat

The home is beautifully set up and maintained. The space is cozy and the view is spectacular! Checking in and out was easy! Great antique and coffee shop just a short walk from the house. We will be back!

Tranquility at Its Best!

We very much enjoyed our stay at this property. I could not get enough of the beautiful view of the Hudson River. The home is situated in a quiet, safe neighborhood and is close to shopping and restaurants. The home was clean and had everything that we needed. We would stay at this property again.

A sweet escape

Perfect little cottage, beautiful area

Our stay couldn't have been better! We're two friends who were celebrating our birthdays and were here for a relaxing week of vacation. The cottage itself, the amenities, host, and location were all great. It's tucked away in a quiet neighborhood with lovely views of the river, five minutes away from Kingston (where we saw a concert at the Ulster Performing Arts Center, had a top-notch dinner at The Brickmen, and shopped at the vinyl stores). Maria was a perfect host and we loved seeing her son and adorable dog playing in the yard in the mornings. Thank you!

Girls getaway

The property was exceptionally clean and well stocked. The beds were comfortable. My best friend and I spent all weekend sitting on the porch catching up. The purpose of our trip was not to visit anywhere but relax and visit with each other. This property with it's covered porches was the ideal place (due to rain). Maria was very responsive to any questions I had. Everything about the property was relaxing and will definitely be on the list for a repeat trip.
