Eekhoorn weg van de drukte van het dagelijks leven, in dit toevluchtsoord met eigen kookgelegenheid in de buurt van de badplaats Portreath. Weggestopt in het landelijke Cornwall, geniet van pure ontspanning in de hot tub, kijk hoe de paarden in het aangrenzende veld ronddartelen of trek eropuit om alles te ontdekken wat de omgeving te bieden heeft.

'S Avonds kruip je naast de houtkachel met dat boek dat je niet hebt kunnen starten! Of nestel je met je beau op het donzige tapijt en kijk hoe de sterren de nachtelijke hemel oplichten door het glazen atrium.

Binnen een paar minuten bevindt u zich op het glorieuze bekroonde strand van Portreath, waar u uw benen over de havenmuur kunt slingeren, kunt genieten van de meest verse Cornish fish and chips en dromerig kunt kijken naar de zon achter de horizon.

Beautiful cow shed

Awesome and lovely, The cow shed was so comfortable and clean. We enjoyed our stay so much we will certainly be booking for next year. Clean, well appointed, beautiful quiet surroundings. Relaxing hot tub and awesome TV. Everything a family could need for a wonderful holiday.

Wunderschöner Urlaub

Wir hatten eine sehr schöne Zeit. Das Haus war super und wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Lage war auch perfekt. Wir haben nur zwei Kritikpunkte. Das Waschbecken im Bad ist viel zu klein und die Haustür schließt schlecht. Wir würden auf jeden Fall wieder kommen.

Stunning!

This place is stunning, perfectly located, spotlessly clean and has everything you will need. Every detail has been very well thought out, even down to the welcome pack with our favourite tipple and the hot tub - wow!- is amazing with lovely views. The ‘team’ behind this property couldn’t have been more helpful. Would highly recommend and would definitely visit again.

Absolute perfection

We had the best week at The Cowshed! Our little boy had his 4th birthday here which was made even more special by the little present left for him along with our very thoughtful welcome hamper. Every little detail has been thought of and the property was spotless with the comfiest beds we’ve ever slept in away from home. The local beaches are by far the most beautiful and perfect for digging sand castles or taking long walks (when the tide is out). It was also great to come back for a soak in the hot tub with no one overlooking other than the horses in the field. We really didn’t want to leave! Thank you so much, can’t wait to come back.

Location was outstanding!

From the booking to leaving the communication was fantastic. If you want a wow property with a key location to get easily to everywhere in Cornwall this is the place 20-30 mins to everywhere! We were that impressed whilst we were still there we have booked again for next year! The little touches on arrival were very thoughtful and just what you need. Perfect property in a great location

We have had the best half term break. The weather was not ideal, but the comfy sitting room, lovely log burner and hot tub more than made this a perfect place to be during a storm! We will definitely be visiting again and would highly recommend. Plenty of space for a family of 4, and some lovely walks and attractions nearby.

Fabulous property

The Cow Shed has everything you could possibly want for a relaxing holiday. It’s location is ideal for lots of beeches and woodland walks. The property is dog friendly; they even get their own goodie bag! The humans are not left out ether. Thank you for the cream tea and all of the other goodies you left us. We were lucky to have great weather for October, we made full use of the hot tub and the log burner. Nights in were a real treat. We would definitely recommend staying at the Cow Shed.

We have just returned from a wonderful week at The Cowshed, the pictures online don’t do it enough justice, the place is stunning, the outlook is onto fields with a couple of very amusing horses. Amazing place

Perfect tranquil location with Porthtreath beach 5mins away, with great waves,rock pools,pubs,Fish and chips etc. We visited Falmouth,StIves,Hayle,St Michaels mount all within 30min drive. The Cowshed is finished to the highest possible standard,There’s nothing you can think of that isn’t already catered for, This ranks of one the best properties we’ve stayed in and the communication from the management team is excellent. Hot-Tubs and Horses!

Fabulous experience, brand new, we were the first lucky guests. Spotless high-end "barn" conversion, with a huge 75" TV and a shiny new hot-tub with a view out across the countryside. The large patio are with the hot-tub is bordered on 2 sides by a field typically occupied by a couple of curious horses, close enough if you like horses and far enough away if you don't, they really do make the experience even if only to keep the kids occupied while the adults watch the big TV.
