DUFFY STREET bungalow is een gezellige, comfortabele, eclectisch ingerichte eengezinswoning gelegen in een van de veiligste wijken binnenstad, aan de overkant van prachtige Dixon Park. Gloednieuw op de vakantie verhuurmarkt, Duffy Street Bungalow, circa 1900, heeft prachtige, originele hart grenen houten vloeren, hoge plafonds, is licht en luchtig en ingericht met originele en unieke meubels / kunstwerken. Vers geschilderd, bijgewerkt en ingericht, dit huis is schoon, fris, comfortabel en ruim. Gelegen op 4 blokken van Forsyth Park, dit huis is op loopafstand / fietsafstand naar River Street en het centrum van alle activiteiten. De wrap around front porch biedt ontspannende zitplaatsen en de achtertuin biedt een mooie, prive en schaduwrijke patio omgeving met veranda en een paraplu tafel om te ontspannen en een koel drankje. Duffy Straat Bungalow beschikt over alle vereiste voor een fantastische veilige omgeving en de buurt, schoon ingrediënten, volledig gevuld, en dicht bij alles. Met een gloednieuw huisalarm, snelle WIFI, Smart TV, uitgebreide kabelkanalen, muziekkanalen, Netflix, Amazon, Blue Ray DVD-speler en verstelbare leren sectionele sofa, biedt de woonkamer een vriendelijke gezinsomgeving om te ontspannen en te genieten. De extra grote keuken is gevuld met alles wat u nodig heeft om zelf maaltijden te bereiden, compleet met koffiezetapparaat, mixer, etc. De salon is prachtig ingericht met een open haard (niet-werkende, maar vrij), originele 1900 schuifdeuren dubbele deuren die extra privacy te bieden, en een zeer comfortabele trek van de bank bij ouderen of extra gasten komen. I really enjoyed We absolutely loved our time at the Groovy, Historic Artist’s Bungalow! It was very charming and had a lot of character that makes this place so special. The artistic touches and vintage decor give the home such a fun, welcoming vibe—every room had its own personality and thoughtful details. The location is perfect and just a short walk to Forsyth Park and close to downtown Savannah. The bungalow was really comfortable. The host clearly takes pride in making guests feel at home and was communicative and helpful throughout our stay. Highly recommend.

House was spacious and had everything we needed for a great weekend. It's a great location, far enough away from downtown where it's quiet at night and we were still able to walk to River street if we wanted to.

Everything was excellent with our stay in the charming and interesting, 1900s home. The location was safe, we walked everywhere, parked on the street, and talked with the neighbors.The home was super cozy, very clean and stocked so well, a person could move right in. There was something interesting on every wall, great care was taken to create a very home-like vibe. Everything was in great working order and the beds were super comfy.The host was in communication quickly every time we had a question.Forsythe Park is just a short walk away and we walked and walked to explore the area. If you are planning a trip to Savannah (and it was an interesting and beautiful place to visit), certainly consider this property, you will be glad you did. We would definitely return!

Lovely old big house, with plenty of space for a family group. Expected proper glassware for wine and champagne not plastic . Easy parking , walking distance to lovely parks and historic areas.

We had a great time at the house. Plenty of room for our party of nine with a nice living space where we could gather to play games. The location is terrific, within walking distance of most of the things we wanted to do in Savannah. There were just a few things that kept this from being a 5/5. We were not able to use the dishwasher because it leaked the first time we tried to use it despite making sure all the food had been cleared from the dishes as requested. Also, the bikes advertised in the listing were not usable because the tires were dry rotted. Other than that, would highly recommend and be happy to use again if we're ever back in Savannah.

We rode out the hurricane at the property and it was amazing. Not just the vibe and cleanliness but the communication with the host. She is very caring and reached out to me multiple times through the storm. She made sure we were safe and having the best time. I can not recommend her and her beautiful home enough!

Our group of six women found the house to be immaculate, well appointed & perfect for all of our needs & comfort, plus the location was ideal. We definitely recommend this place to others looking for all of the above. There are a full flight of stairs & it is a charming old home but the stairs were no problem for us.

This house was very nice and cozy! The second floor had 4 beautiful bedrooms and 1 full bath. The main level was a kitchen, family room, living room and another full bath. A short drive to downtown shops and activities. There was also a very nice back yard with table to sit at.

Three generations enjoyed our stay at this beautiful property. It was super clean, well appointed and was very close to all that Savannah has to offer. The dogs loved the fenced in backyard and there are great sidewalks around the home to take the dogs for walks. The Hostess, Lisa, was super friendly and communicative. She was very helpful with check-in and departure and thorough with house rules. We really enjoyed learning more about the neighborhood and neighbors. She was extremely attentive and had some amazing recommendations to make the most of our stay in Savannah. I highly recommend this super cool historic home. The beds are super comfortable, the water pressure in the showers was perfect, and it is the quietest, most comfortable VRBO i have ever stayed in.

The house was beautiful and spacious. Plenty of room for our family of seven plus grandparents and dog to spread out comfortably. Restaurants and other attractions were easily accessible. Lisa provided an abundance of recommendations for things to do and places to see. 10/10 would stay again.

My husband's family got together for an after Christmas visit and chose to stay at this home. Lisa was very accommodating throughout the process, and made sure every detail was taken care of for us. The home is charming! Beds were comfortable, and amenities were all perfect. The neighborhood is within walkng distance to Forsyth Park and even into the Victorian District. I would stay again next time we visit Savannah.

Last minute trip to Savannah with family for thanksgiving and needed to bring our family dog. Very hard to find nice dog friendly places to rent. First, Lisa is amazing and seems like such fun. Easy communication and very thorough. The home was comfortable, away from noise (there is a train that goes by so be prepared) and clean and comfortable. Especially likes the massive sectional sofa - we loaded the entire family on for some relaxing and game playing in the evenings. Off street, gated parking as well as street parking right outside the door was a definite plus. And the grass in the back was lovely and gated with wrap around covered porches.

Beautifully decorated Savannah house! It is huge! Pictures do not do it justice! Super clean and location is great! Ubers come quickly. We have a very large English Bulldog and he LOVED the fenced in back yard. Lots of charm and character throughout the house. Very easy place to stay WITHOUT a lot of added requirements before check out! 😊 Host was wonderful and responds very quickly. Super easy check in and check out! We will absolutely stay here again!

I use the term girls loosely! We are all, but one, over 70. The house is a typical southern bungalow full of the 1920s charm. We spent very little time in the formal living room. Some time in the family room but when we were there we were in the kitchen. Isn’t that where everyone gathers? We were there 4 nights and 2 of them we were out. The other two we came back from dinner and played cards, in the kitchen, of course. The bedrooms were comfortable and only 2 of us he’d to share a bed but it was a king so that was fine. We were a little farther than walking distance from town but we had our own car and parking was available. We highly suggest you go to the Old Pink House for late breakfast or lunch. It was wonderful and I’d have just ordered 3 dessert if I’d known how delish they were. We also did the ghost tour that granted us access to a home and a warehouse. I hope we find our way back to Savannah again and I’d certainly enjoy staying at Lisa Mays again.

Lisa’s communication was so prompt and thorough. The home was cool and unique and perfectly located. The beds were comfortable, the bathrooms and kitchen were clean. Street parking was plentiful and easy to navigate. Would definitely stay here again in the future.
